• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Having problems opening my '22 F3L Frunk - could it be the cable?

There is better ways to do that. The factory engineers are not and never were mechanics.

Your Weather News @ JUNE Edition 2025

June is looking good so far in North-Central Florida. Not looking great for riding, but it has been raining almost every day for over a week and that looks good for the garden and the fruit trees. Most days are 90- 95 degrees F, so if you do get wet riding it is not a big deal. Ride on through...

Anyone here been stopped for using a Brake Free unit?

A related subject, although it is not a brake free unit, I recently put a name brand truck topper on one of the pickups. It was required by law to have a high third brake light on the rear of the topper, wired into the truck brake light circuit. It may not be law in every state or country, but...

Those titles are not scientific papers or reports. They are science-fiction, as is Soylent Green. To think they were anything else would be like placing Mad Max movies into the non-fiction classification. I would not rule out some science fiction stories or books actually coming true, but until...

Ever driven your Spyder onto a ferry?

Never assume any rules or laws the government entities or rules committees come up with have any relationship to common sense. The Ferry Operations are covered by DOT. Definitely rule out any common sense in that.

Ever driven your Spyder onto a ferry?

I have ridden motorcycles and driven trucks on to a lot of ferries. I can tell you that there is no standard angle for the ramps. If the ferry is in a river or tributary influenced by tides the angle changes with the tides. In a river far enough away from tidal influence, the angles will be...

Two motorcycles hit a gator in the middle of I-4. Not that unusual for a motorcycle to hit a gator in Florida. It happens quite often. It is a little unusual for two in the same group to hit the gator. The story seems to be lacking a few details but I very much doubt the gator was stationary...

Interesting conversation at the gas pump - asked why I chose to ride a Spyder rather than 'a real motorcycle'?!

The Internet does not know everything, and neither does Webster. Quote the Internet when asked; "These are results for Was Merriam Webster a biker? AI Overview An AI Overview is not available for this search" Things which do not really matter are not very important to me. Call your machine...
