• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

I put the utility rack on my 20 RT Base and leave it full time. I bolted a Shad Top Case base and put the case on occasionally. I also exchange the base plate for a RotoPax Gas mount for long isolated tours (see avatar). The original painted cover sits in the shed.

Looking for a quick release strap for a modular helmet - any ideas?

There are a couple other styles but they all add at least 1 inch to the loop under your neck. I ended up buying my carbon lid with quick release from Europe because the same USA model was D-ring.

Anyone know how to add a strobe/flasher to RT Brake Lights?

The custom dynamics page referenced claims that flasher doesn't work with CanBus. I thought the Spyder was a CanBus. Are you using it on a Spyder?

How do you secure your Helmets when leaving your bike?

I'm also a 'trusting' rider that has left my lid on the seat or handlebars for years and 100+ k miles of touring. Never had anything taken or touched. Maybe just luck or the places I stop have less 'dirtbags'. I only stow the lid in the frunk if weather calls for it.

New recalls on 2022 RTL - anyone heard of these latest two?

Me too since March! I suffer from DMP (Dealer Malpractice Phobia).

Does anyone have/carry an ICE - In Case of Emergency - Capsule?

EarPeace ear plugs come in an aluminum waterproof capsule. There's room enough to stuff a small note in. Also, many jackets have a zipper pocket by the cuff for ICE info.

Anyone installed a Sirius XM radio receiver on their RT? Any hints?

I installed an XM receiver on my '20 RT. I connected the XM's audio out to the AUX IN plug and used the 5v power from the USB plug. I ran the antenna under the tupperware to the back and glued it to the right top (opposite the RT antenna). If it rains, I cover it with a ziplock baggy.

2 wheeler sayings don't apply to Rykers - we need 3 wheeler sayings!

Everyone that rides knows there are risks. We each decide how lucky we think we are and gear up accordingly. Get-offs on 2 wheels is more likely than Spyders/Rykers BUT hitting/getting hit by cages is more common than high speed drops/slides and 3 wheels won't help against a 2 ton metal box...

    Do I Have A Lemon?

Sounds like you were just unlucky and got a bad one but not technically a 'lemon'. I have 40k miles on my '20 with only 1 failed brake switch that I replaced myself - even tho I have BEST. I rarely ever see my dealer after purchase because what they call 'technicians' I call 'part swappers'. It...

    Insta360 One RS Camera - 1st ride

Had to check out this gravel road!

Like you, I ride mostly with my old crew of 2-wheelers. They (we) frequently end up on dirt/gravel or 2-track connector 'roads'. So far they have yet to lose me but riding on 2-track is hard on the butt!

Was this a Fuel Indicator Reserve Notification?

I use a Rotopax 1.75 gal container mounted on the rear deck of my RT when traveling multi-states west of the Mississippi. I hide it with a helmet bag (see my avatar). As stated, if a crash reaches that far, odds are gas is the least of my problems!

Has anyone tried setting the dynojet PV3's highest speed?

The best I could get from my shopping cart (RT) is 113 mph (GPS). Not easy pushing a barn door down the road even with the PV3 tune!

What add-on parts are best and necessary on 2023 RT Ltd?

Many threads of 'improvements' but here's a short list: SUSPENSION (most important) Car tires; Upgraded sway bar; Upgraded front shocks. VISABILITY Driving LEDS (DRLs); Accent lighting. PERFORMANCE Throttle Control (Pedal Commander or PedalBox); Cat Delete and/or Pipe; ECU Tune (a couple...

Any reason not to Connect heated gear to acc outlets on 2022 F3?

If you want to have the heat circuit active only when 'moving' AND be certain of the power load, use a relay controlled by your accessory wire and run the heated gear to the battery thru the relay. A more robust wiring setup would look something like this:

So... Q? for those who get off the tar with a 1330.

I've ridden 'off-road maybe 25 miles all told on my '20 RT so far on long-haul trips. Dusty hard-pack, loose and packed gravel, even some 2-track. Other than a few scrapes and grass strains, the stock muffler is fine. Note, I have a cat-delete so slightly less risk of contact.

I had a problem after changing the tires on my Can Am Spyder RT 215/65R15.

Your description reads more like the rear shock is bottoming out. If your RT has an air bag rear shock it needs about 50 PSI (minimum?) to stiffen the back end.
