• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windshield arm replacement problem. Thoughts requested

If it wasn't screwed down tight I think the Worm when would be trying to push the assembly up and cause all sorts of problems but I feel BRP have gone a little overboard in ensuring the screws stay tight (in more places than one on the Spyder). If they had manufactured an arm that didn't crack...

    Replacing windshield arm

It doesn't matter if you go the magnet end or the worm wheel end as long as you take it steady and take your time It ends up with the same result, a safer better fitting arm that won't break like the OEM ones do. Anyone with an RT should regularly (maybe while drying the bike after a wash) look...

    Magic Mirrors

They are terrific, I helped test them out for Merlot and they are a great change in Mirror removal. I can reinstall my mirror with one hand and have tried everything to shake the lose. I have also installed a tether on mine as an experiment but I don't feel it's necessary.

    2014 SPYDERrt Limited Mirrors

I have Merlot's Magic Mirrors fitted to my RTS and they are a fantastic Idea. I can actually refit my mirror to the bike one handed. They are a solid mount and all wobble and movement is gone. And no more bashing and crashing to get them off and on. And you can fit a tether if you want but not...

Windshield and support frame removal RT 2014

I agree with all above, Once you remove the two screws off the arm, and pop off the Black washer (sleeve) you should be able to tap out the pins and repeat for the other arms and that's it. Make sure you have some sort of Towel or cloth to prevent any parts falling down and into the depts of...
