• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found a simple tool to help me in the rain

A nice find for any type of glove! Personally, I have three different pairs of HELD brand gloves, and all have the squeegee sewn in. Yes, the squeegees DO work to clear a face shield.

    Windshield pro's and con's

2018 F3L here: I replaced stock shield with Lamonster's 15". Then I added the adjustable MRA X-Creen Tour Spoiler Blade. This combo works very well for me. No added turbulence to speak of. I wear modular helmet and ear plugs so I can't comment on wind noise. I think your body...

Anyone tried "Speed Bleeders" brake bleeders?

Are you guys just putting the speed bleeders on the front and rear brakes, omitting the ABS unit?

Any Examples of the word "Spyder" written in script?

As a retired sign painter with decades of experience, here is my suggestion: If your sign PAINTER (NOT vinyl maker) has any skills at all with script, have him/her draw an example or two for you to see. Or, ask to look at their portfolio. Sign painters who pinstripe custom cars, motorcycles...

    pain in the a_ _

There is a phrase from the classic air-cooled VW repair-procedural manual, How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive (aka VW Idiot Manual) written by John Muir, that goes like this: "Come to kindly terms with your ass for it bears you". In other words, get to know your machine so you are familiar...

    2018 F3L Radiators at 10,086 Miles

What I've done to help keep the radiators bug/crap free is to wrap the front of my F3 grill with black nylon window screen. With the grill removed, I cut a rough screen template and cut and fold the screen on the back side of the grill as I go. I use Gorilla tape where needed. I cut a small...

Getting ready to attempt belt alignment

What ButterSmooth says is accurate. My 2018 F3 Limited came from the factory with the belt to pulley flange measurement close to a 3mm gap. Last summer, when I reinstalled the rear wheel with new tire (Vredestine Quadrac 5 all around), I spent a LOT of time trying to get that suggested credit...

Anyone installed Handlebar Risers on 2020 F3-T?

I'm close you in size at 6'2" with a 35" sleeve length. I recently installed Lamonster's riser on my F3 LTD. Very nice addition as bringing the bars closer to my body gives more bend in my elbow, and less pressure on my shoulders. Worth it for me for a bit more comfort. As Lamonster claims in...

    Belt Guard Removal

I've done the same as you. Last fall, while prepping for winter storage, I discovered those pesky nuts you can't see. Can't see? BLIND nuts to the rescue. Nice to able to make any task a bit easier.

Can you remove the trunk on a PRE-2020 F3L?

What the black cover panel does not come with is: the BRP stick on logo (I got mine through Amazon), the metal clips that secure the panel in the three rear slots, and two push pins that secure the panel at it's front.

Can you remove the trunk on a PRE-2020 F3L?

I've had the top trunk off, on our 2018 F3 Limited, many times. I can remove the top trunk in about 10 minutes working patiently. It's one of the many ways of becoming familiar with the machine. I reinstall with the ground strap in place even though I don't use the radio.

    August Caswell Riders Ride

Forecast is for reasonably calm winds, blue skies and a high of 77 in Mora, and similarly for Duluth? That's TERRIFIC! Wishes for a safe and conscious ride, from the west side of Minnesota!
