• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gold Canyon Az to Lake Stevens, Wa

I can sum it up with the fact that I did not take a picture of us together at dinner. She was 7 years younger and looked 10 or 15 years older than me! I will have to just remember the good time summer of 1969!

Traffic on Stevens Pass can be a bear. My new lady friend arrived July 5th and is staying to go back with me via Moab for three days riding in the SxS end of September. She is from my AZ RV resort.

Looking at buying - If you are over 80 y/o and ride a Spyder, raise your hand...

I am 80, and I recently found a 70-year-old soulmate to ride on the Spyder and in the KRX SxS with me. Life is feeling good again, after losing my wife of 40 years in the summer of 2021.

DID Make My Mind up! - Big D's Mighty Red Baron has Arrived!

The Spyder RT is excellent of older riders. I turned 80 in June and in May I did a bucket list 1780 mile 6 day repositioning ride with one of my 2018 RTL's. Which included hitting a German Shepperd dog in California which did 4-4.5K damage to the Spyder, however I was able to complete the ride...

Has The Rear Suspension Improved on the latest Spyders?

Just take her for a ride on a HD trike and she will love the Spyder when she gets back on it. The 2020+ machines have a different ergonomic layout, however the underpinnings are basically the same. I think the nature of the trailing arm single wheel rear suspension leads to the thump on bumps...

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

Let's see: my 2021 F-150 2.7L Ecoboost can get over 24 MPG on 87 octane regular (think up to 10% alcohol) and that is 99% all that has been in it for 33,000 miles; my Kawasaki KRX 1000 SxS has run fine for over 4,000 miles on 87; and both of my 2018 Spyder RT's run fine on 87.

You knew it had to come - there's a Chinese Spyder!

CFMOTO had been producing engines for KTM for many years and decided to get into full productions. I bought a CForce 600 T (two up quad) in June of 2022, a year later I gave it to my step son when I brought the KRX North for the summer. It is a pretty decent machine.

    Spyder Sightings

Last Saturday at around 12:30PM I saw a White 2019 or early Spyder RTL head South in the diamond lane on I-5 just North of the King County line(Washington State) with two up riders in pretty heavy traffic.

Learning about my RT bit by bit

As long as you are in the learning mode, learn to just guide it out on the open road, because if you try to really steer it, it will be all over the road. I normally run on CC most of the time and just rest my hand on the handle bars, using pressure forward on the off side bar to make corrects...

Almost had the big one yesterday - pallet fell of a truck into our path!

Yep, I believe a two wheeler would have gone down when I hit the dog with right front wheel. If he/she had been moving a little faster I would have missed it. Little slower and I would have hit it dead center.
