• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone done an ECU Flash with DynoJet Power Vision 3 on a 2023 F3?

Pretty sure they have a 2020 F3 file which should be close, if not the same as the 2020+ 1330. https://www.dynojet.com/parts/can-am/spyder-f3-t-se6/2020

Do we owe Kenda an apology?

What's the point of this discussion?:banghead: We choose the products we like for whatever reasons. If Kendas light your fire, enjoy. But why try to convince the rest of us to agree with whatever 'logic' you dream up. Personally, I switched out the Kendas very soon after finding...

Suggest any battery warming gloves thin enough to wear under thick gloves?

If each glove has it's own self-contained battery carried on the wrist, there is no need for a harness (wires up each arm that would run back to a single power pack usually in a pocket.)

Suggest any battery warming gloves thin enough to wear under thick gloves?

You may be better off going for heated gloves rather than liners. The liners add bulk and make bending your fingers around the grips stiff compared to wearing heated gloves.

Where should I stick WA State's 'Good To Go!' pass?

Can't speak for WA but NJ EZPass works well stuck to the underside of the Frunk lid. If WA is like NJ, your license plate is keyed to your pass so even if the sensor doesn't read the pass, they will charge it to the acct tied to your plate .

2018 RTL - looking for battery upgrade and replacement suggestions?

If you put a voltmeter in, be sure to connect to 'key-on' circuit or a switch, not directly to battery or you will slowly drain the battery.

    Riding Gear Poll

:agree: DON'T CHANGE GOOD HABITS! :2thumbs: (And check the age of the rest of your gear too). :yikes:

It's a great habit NOT to break!

    Riding Gear Poll

I push my RT pretty hard and I'm no spring chicken. I always wear ATGATT because a get-off hurts (and every few years the insurance co buys me new gear!).

What experiences have you had with Lithium Batteries?

Re: Experience with Lithium batteries. I had one in my Triumph Trophy. Spent the night in Fairplay, Co and woke to 26F. Attempted to start the bike and got nada, zip, nogots! Plugged in my heated jacket (direct wired to battery) for 2 minutes and the bike started with no problem after that. I...

Lift Jacks Revisited - what's a viable lift jack to SAFELY raise a Spyder?

I have the HF $229 jack. It's sturdier than the cheaper HF model and supports my RT with no problems.

    Confessions on tour planning

I'm 77 and I've made 2 6000+ miles loops and a few 3000+ miles across most (43) of the states and a few Canadian provs in the past 9 years. Each trip was planned to ride specific 'motorcycle attraction roads' and parks. I learned several years ago to NOT book rooms in advance. First time we...

Tried to Winterize, but the weather's too good, so Still Riding!

I too, haven't winterized my bikes since I bought heat gear 10 years ago. The saying here is, "If there's no snow, I go". We do the Polar Bear Grand Tour every fall thru spring. A different place for lunch every Sunday.

What Kind of Rider are you?

My mantra is, "If it ain't snowing, I'm going". I ride year-round if I can see the pavement. However, I discovered the Spyder hydroplanes way easier than my 2-wheels - even with Quatracs. Used to run at 70+ mph in the rain with the bike but last weeks rain and the light weight of the RT had me...

Is a Spyder a motorcycle, trike or something else?

If you mean 'forum members', I ride 95% with 2-wheelers. They have no problem with me in their groups and I frequently am the lead. Therefore, I fully align with the 'motorcycle' community. Can Am, like all my previous rides is a BRAND. It isn't WHAT you ride, it's the FOLKS you ride with and...

I Highly recommend the Pedal box

Being an old-school techno weeny, not a fan of all-in-one / single failure-point devices. Maybe more clutter but easier to perform functions w/o diddling with phone apps. My point re: rain protection was not to fret with having it exposed unless you ride under water.

Spyder owners are stuck up - why is this so?? Please explain...

I usually wave but I'm not losing sleep if I miss you or you don't respond. I think the wave is like the punch-buggy toot from the 60s. Beetles were rare and if you saw one, you beeped (maybe got punched). Same on the bikes back then. In comparison, there's far more...

I Highly recommend the Pedal box

Some have said the Pedal Commander is not waterproof. I noticed with the PC, my MPG sank drastically compared to the lethargic non-PC operation when always on. So, for casual rides, I shut it off and when I'm feeling frisky I use it and burn thru gas with a big grin on my face. I mounted the box...
