• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ryker turning left Issues

Interesting - the NHTSA says my VIN isn't valid. BRP knows it's correct when I had to change the previous owners name to mine for their records. I'll try again tomorrow.

    Ryker turning left Issues

Sounds good... and I guess I'm really in the BRP game now. Update kit and BUDS2 are on order and I just need to look at the thing a little closer to figure out what I have to remove to get to the affected parts. Earlier comments indicated the instructions that came with the kit are pretty clear...

    Ryker turning left Issues

Appreciate it. After a short ride today, the Ryker is definitely staying home and I’ll be riding a 2-wheeler over to WV. Ever since I got the fuel pump replaced, I’ve been concerned with the accuracy of the gas gauge. To that end, I’ve been building up the miles on a tank to see just when I get...

    Ryker turning left Issues

This seems to be a continued thread, but I'm afraid my used 4K mile ’22 Sport has all the symptoms ya’ll have described. Beginning to think that I made a grave mistake in buying the thing because I didn’t have a clue about all the potential issues these machines seem to be “blessed” with. The PO...

Here's my Left Turn "wobble" Fix!

This an older thread, but afraid my used 4K mile ’22 Sport has all the symptoms ya’ll have described. Beginning to think that I made a grave mistake in buying the thing because I didn’t have clue about all the potential issues these machines seem to be “blessed” with. The PO apparently didn’t...

Recalled Fuel Pump Number, Same Part Number As One It Replaced

I found a subsequent post that listed the serial number ranges. My original pump's first several numbers fell in that range (174-XXX). The "new" pump numbers do not (438-XXX), so I think we're good. Thank you again.

Recalled Fuel Pump Number, Same Part Number As One It Replaced

I was wondering about that. Unfortunately, the notice I think we all got only mentioned the part numbers. After I peeled off the tank cover, I saw mine was one of the ones that was (possibly) affected. I would like to think that the dealer was savvy enough to check the serial number of mine to...

Recalled Fuel Pump Number, Same Part Number As One It Replaced

I thought I could breathe easy after I had my 2022 Sport's pump replaced a few days ago due to the recall. Now, I'm not so sure. In putting my paperwork away, thought I'd take a picture of the new one before installing the tank cover. When comparing the numbers between the two photos, the new...

My 2022 Ryker keys are interchangeable...

One thing I was glad to see during this whole DESS key issue was that the modified comm cable that powers the OEM heated grips I installed a while back, now “talks” to the (assumed) BUDS2 reader for the programming. The grip's cable plugs into the data plug down beside the radiator and runs up...

My 2022 Ryker keys are interchangeable...

I FINALLY got mine done a couple of days ago when I had the recall done with the fuel pump. I suspected that was what needed to be done, but they didn't have my bike in the back long enough to take much apart (I'd already removed the tank cover). I didn't know if they had to open the clamshell...

My 2022 Ryker keys are interchangeable...

Fixed! - They forgot to "activate" the DESS system, and the magnet trick didn't work this time. Got my original keys back (I'd marked them before my first visit). Not sure if it was just a programming process, or if the post was actually replaced (hence my question). I saw it in the original...

My 2022 Ryker keys are interchangeable...

Does a Ryker’s “clamshell” have to be opened to R&R the DESS post? I ask because a dealer was supposed to make the DESS operative on my 2022 when I had it in to get the fuel pump recall done. That they did, and gave me the impression that the DESS issue was also taken care of. When I got home I...

Can the Ryker Brake Calipers be removed to replace pads without removing the wheels?

Noob question: Can the Ryker's brake calipers be removed (so the pads can be replaced) without removing the wheels?

2022 Ryker Sport Fuel Tank Cover - How to Remove?

Had stage 2 (rest test) yesterday, but still not enough radioactive goop stuck in me that I glowed in the dark. The Test doc said she got all the info she needed, so they'll get passed on to the specialists to read the results (84 x 2 pictures) to find out if blood is going where it needs to be...

2022 Ryker Sport Fuel Tank Cover - How to Remove?

Made it over to a dealer yesterday, on the way to the doc for a Nuclear Stress Test (getting old sucks!), and they have me on the books, but had to order the pump. Gonna call when it gets in... which I hope is soon. Going to take care of the "dumb" key issue too. Ask about the Spyder shaft...

2022 Ryker Sport Fuel Tank Cover - How to Remove?

Rats! Not really what I wanted to say, but being a family channel I bit my tongue. I finally had enough time today to shuck the Ryker’s tank cover so I could access the fuel pump. I needed to see the pump’s part number and check it with the list BRP put out in their pump recall notice. The PO...

Is anyone using one of these Lifts to work on their Ryker?

Appreciate it, all. Jack positioning would certainly be a priority on the Ryker, because it really doesn’t have a conventional frame. And removing the tires would really be difficult with the bike in the air because of the crazy torque values they’re held on with; the wheel nut would have to be...

Is anyone using one of these Lifts to work on their Ryker?

This may be an asinine question, but gonna ask it anyway: Is anyone using one of these bike/ATV lifts to put their Ryker in the air? In my case, it’s a 2022 Sport Ace 900 model that has a full-length SE Performance skidpan under it. The capacity of the lift is 1500 lbs.
