• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Need hitch-ball height measurement.

Aluma MCT XL aluminum motorcycle trailer with 13" wheel and tire combination. Axle height difference between standard 12" wheel/tire and this 13" wheel/tire combination is 1-1/2", very noticeable with a 15" ball height... trailer rides level with 15" ball height. I know that a 13" wheel...

    Need hitch-ball height measurement.

You should see the ball-mount collection I have for receiver hitches... I do like my equipment trailers to ride level.

    Need hitch-ball height measurement.

I don't yet have a hitch for my spyder, but am buying a trailer (tomorrow) anyway. I need the measurement from the ground, to the top of the trailer-ball, preferably a BRP hitch. This will help me decide on 12" or 13" wheels for my trailer... your help is appreciated.

    Shock-Tek gloves!

Shock-Tec MC6080 fingerless gloves, size XXXL (3x-large). With these gloves, cruise-control is a "want" instead of an absolute "must"... no numb fingers while riding. Padding takes a bit of getting used to, and fingerless gloves are a pain to remove. Luckily, I usually don't need to remove...

    RTS first shower

Soaked to the skin... wife was a good sport about the soaking. Rain suits were in the "frunk" where they stayed nice and dry, too hot here to bother putting them on.

    RTS first shower

Hal W. Adams Bridge was today's destination. Built in 1947, official opening 4 July 1947... first suspension bridge in Florida. Luraville crossing of Suwannee River, highway 51, Suwannee and Lafayette County. 440 miles on the RTS and it received a rain baptism, about 15 miles home. A quick...

    Waiting for the Postman

My 2014 hasn't lost the comfortable/compliant ride with the BajaRon sway bar. (no "sway" problem with stock sway bar) Cornering is the only time I can tell a difference... even solo. (But, even solo, with the kit I normally carry in the bike, I'm over 250 pound load.) My rides begin with 100...

    Waiting for the Postman

Hey Bob, my type of riding, the BajaRon sway bar isn't necessary for solo riding, but is a noticeable improvement with both of us on the bike. We are near the maximum recommended weight limit, and I consider the BajaRon sway bar a safety/stability item. Pilot control and passenger comfort in...

    Waiting for the Postman

Two-up test of BajaRon sway bar today... wife approved! Her comment, Spyder is smoother in the curves. Hillman Bridge, (old highway 90) Ellaville crossing, (Suwannee River) Madison County side. Built in 1925~26, abandoned 1986.

In the air: All the necessary covers removed, waiting for a package from Lamonster Garage... a new BajaRon sway bar and links: Mail finally arrived @ 2:30PM... all buttoned up, sway bar barely visible:

Where is everyone riding this Weekend

Staying home on the 4th... Will take an early morning back-road ride Saturday, before it gets too hot. Gibson Park, a local boat-ramp, picnic, and camping area on the Suwannee River (Hamilton County side) is our half-way stop. Smooth, well maintained county roads, with curves. (destination...

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. Spyder now has 144 miles, an enjoyable back-road ride home. Here are a couple pictures (at home) because we all know, here on the inter-web, if you don't have pictures, it didn't happen.

Test rode a 2014 RT-S today. Did I like it? Picking up my Circuit Yellow Metallic RT-S, SE-6, tomorrow morning. Will ride my Harley Road King the last 100 miles as my bike, and put the first 100+ miles on my Spyder. Yes, I reached for the nonexistent front brake lever a couple times during...
