• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    harborfreight 1500 lb motorcycle lift

Yep, it worked on my RTS when I installed the Seals this morning. I first jacked up the RTS to put her on jack stands, but I was a bit nervous when I took it off the stands to let the RTS down. Just don't push the jack in too far. It should be in just far enough so the front end of the jack...

    Chrome Trim

Just and idea, not necessarily a good one though, but has anyone considered using chrome door trim to bring some more sparkle to the RT. With this: http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Chrome-Molding-Models-D-I-Y/dp/B004QY9O9Y It looks as though you might be able to place the trim around the edges of...

    Any thoughts for arthritis comfort

I have no difficulties steering with the Cramp Buster. As far as control, if you want to back off the throttle, just lift the heal of your hand or rotate your wrist. BTW, this is not a cruise control it just slips on over the throttle.

    Any thoughts for arthritis comfort

A Cramp Buster may help. I don't have arthritis but I do have a Cramp Buster. No need to grasp the throttle, just press the Cramp Buster with the heal of your hand

RT Tool Kit. Putting it back in place....

I use this stuff from big box hardware stores and it should work: velcro It is great for wrapping all kinds of stuff. I used it to wrap up my cover, my rain suits, etc. This is not the two piece stuff - it is one piece that wraps back on itself.

    Can-Am Armor

Radguy, I agree. The jacket does seem quite versatile. I think in our location the jacket would suffice quite well even in winter with just a light fleece underneath it. Thanks all, for your suggestions.

    Can-Am Armor

    Can-Am Armor

After obtaining our RTS, my better-half and I bought us each the Can-Am Summer Mesh Jackets. I'm looking now to purchase the shoulder, elbow and back armor. Unfortunately, the Can-Am web site shows the armor as being currently unavailable. Does anyone know a site where I can order it? I've...

Jacking up the spyder to change front preload

As soon as I got my RTS home from the dealer, the first thing I did was use a scissor jack underneath just forward of center to raise the front end enough to change to position 5. I put 20 lbs of pressure in the front tire and immediately noticed a difference in cornering.

    Floorboard/Brake Pedal Question

Flybuddy, those are exactly the boards I was considering. I knew the picture looked as though there was a lot of room, but as we all know, pictures don't always tell the whole story. Thanks.

    Floorboard/Brake Pedal Question

I've had my 2012 RTS for 14 days now and the first two mods I'd like are floorboards and highway pegs. But, I have a question about the floorboards. When you press the brake pedal do you find you have sufficient room between the floorboards and the brake pedal to really lay on the brake if...
