• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The case comes with the speakers but the optional amp kit is needed to make them work. Don't forget that many 2-16 F3T's have audio and it's now standard for 2017 on the F3T.

    The thing that is going to tick you off is the cost. Between the case, the amp for the speakers, and the color match panels, the retail cost is $2050.

    Good question. I was wondering the same... :thumbup: It would seem that you could use a standard relay to accomplish this as not to power them directly off the heated grip switch but rather have them triggered by it...

    Pete, I had a similar experience attempting the dreaded heated grip install. Glad you got yours sorted! Mine heads to a dealer for the install the end of the month to get torn apart all over again... :banghead:

    I agree Pete. They are absolutely worlds apart for me. The comfort due to seating position is night and day better on my F3 compared to my wife's RT. I also find the handling and ride quality to be superior. I can't ride my wife's machine for more than 15-20 minutes without shifting in my seat...

    I didn't buy a F3 for it's looks at all. In fact, I think the RT is better looking. I bought it because, for me, it's so much more comfortable to ride. That said, I'm not sure why it has to be a team F3 vs. team RT thing like we're some Twilight watching tweens here. Buy, accessorize, and ride...

    I think you're right about what I saw on BRP's site. On further inspection it looks like a top case rack. Phew. Back down to 2k...LOL... Sorry about that. Just noticed the arm rests are $450. Man all this stuff is as bad as Harley accessories price wise.
