• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    How's this for confusing?

The event schedule link doesn't tell me squat - hence my request for more info on the schedule of events. I'm thinking I can make Saturday's events, but it would be nice to know what they were, and when they were happening.

    How's this for confusing?

I checked the VIN and it is listed as a Limited. And you are right - me being happy with it is what matters. And I am beyond happy with it! It meets all my needs (ok, more HP would be nice), looks great and gets awesome mpg and smiles per mile. Thanks everyone for your input! Craig

    How's this for confusing?

I'm undecided. I had a bad experience with the service dept at Midwest back in March and vowed not to patronize their establishment. BUT, since proceeds go to a charity I may reconsider. The problem I'm having is with a lack of info on the event. Have you seen an event schedule? The website...

    How's this for confusing?

You nailed it jcthornton. It is a Cowtown bike. Since I do have the factory Garmin and the frunk bag, I'm going with the Limited model. And yes, I'll remove the 'goofy' decals. I talked myself into that last week.

    How's this for confusing?

The frunk say RTSS. The saddlebag says RTS. The passenger backrest is embroidered with 'Limited'. This is the way the bike came from the dealer in 2014. I'm told the dealer did this to be able to say 'You'll never see another bike like this one'. It was traded in to the same dealer this...

    RT Headlight Shutter Sticking

I'm having a similar issue on my '14 RT Limited. Sometimes the right headlight will not be illuminated at all when the low beams are on. If I flash the high beam once or twice I hear the shutter working and the low beam comes on. Just started this behavior recently. All stock lighting, never...

    Vintage Can-Am

Cool! I had one of those in the 175 version back in the '70's. That engine was a screamer - too bad the suspension was total crapola. After some serious suspension work it became one of my favorite bikes.

New to forum and Can Am

Another 2014 Limited rider here - 35,000 trouble free miles and counting. You made a great choice!

    New Spyder Line up 2019

I'm with you on that one - I'll have to drive my '14 Ltd 'till the wheels fall off! :banghead:

    Dreaded seat again

:agree: completely. I did the mod myself, front and back, with Dave's gel/memory foam pad and it made a huge difference. I'm a left hip disarticulation amputee (leg gone from hip socket down) and have a lot of sensitivity in my left hip. This mod helped that problem immensely! The best...

How good and comfortable are Ultimate Seats ?

It is more of a problem of water penetrating the stitching and getting absorbed by the foam. I had the cover off of my stock seat last week to install a gel/memory foam pad and found the foam was soaking wet underneath the cover. I had been caught in the rain about a week prior, and it still...

    Anyone use Hydro Silex?

I bought into the hype and spent the coin to try it. Not that impressed. It does leave a very slick surface after treatment that does bead water well. It doesn't seem to last very long, and you need a very clean surface before application. I've decided to go back to Top Coat F11. It...

Lower left leg amputee ... (And, what about riding without your prosthetic?)

I'm a left hip disarticulation amputee (removed from the hip socket down), and ride like the wind with just one leg. Took a while to get it figured out - not being able to apply the normal body english was scary for a minute or two. I thank my RTS Ltd for giving me back my freedom to roam...
