• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The old Spyder tyre quandry

No need for confusion Sorry if all the rhetoric has confused you (we kind of got off on a tangent with Chicago bridges) but I have spoke to several dealers about VEE Rubber and they seem to agree that if the tires have been designed for Spyder's with their ABS and Traction control systems in...

    The old Spyder tyre quandry

Chicago bridges The one on the Congress Expressway is 3 or 4 lanes wide (going under the post office) and the traffic is moving more than 30 mph. The one on Michigan Ave is also wider than 2 lanes, plus remember, you are dealing with Chicago taxis and other traffic and also trying to avoid...

    The old Spyder tyre quandry

Granted, these bridges are not long, but remember you are in anywhere from 3-5 lanes of Chicago traffic and you are not really staying in your lane.....that is unnerving.....!!!!

    The old Spyder tyre quandry

Chicago Try driving in Chicago.....all the bridges are steel grates, but a little wiggling won't hurt anyone. Cars do the same thing, but 3 wheels are better than 2!!!

    2017 Spyder Homecoming

OK....I am relatively new to Spyders (I bought a 2012 RT Ltd. in March and have put over 4000 miles on it so far) but have experience with motorcycles in general. I am also trading the 2012 in on a 2016 RT-SPE and will be riding that to the Homecoming (which I am registered for). I am asking...

Significant progress on talking to CAN Bus on Spyder

CAN bus Just wanted to let you know that I have access to Vector CANalyzer software at work. We use CAN on some of the devices we manufacture for the off-road industry. Does anyone know if BRP uses J1939 or CANopen protocols? Also, where is a good place to tap into the bus?

    Tri-axis handlebars

I have a 2012 Spyder RT Limited and was wondering how difficult it is to change the handlebars to the adjustable, Tri-axis style? I have seen the YouTube videos and it looks like a real pain as there are 3 18-25 minute videos describing the steps. In everyone's opinion, would it be best to...
