• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New 17" Wheel Upgrade with Custom Wheel Adapters

I KNOW..................... :dontknow: It's REALLY gonna hurt if I can't figure something out. I keep going into the garage to look at it... I feel like it's the day before I'm about to put down my dog of 19 years :(. I just lowered my Fox Podium shocks to about 2 turns above their lowest...

New 17" Wheel Upgrade with Custom Wheel Adapters

Well....... I ordered a set of custom hub adapters to go from our standard 3 bolt pattern to a more common 5 x 114 bolt pattern. I chose to order a 2 piece hub adapter so I wouldn't compromise the the integrity of the wheel by omitting any bolts. I also decided to go thicker than I wanted on...

    RS-S (SE5) HID PROBLEMS

Thanks Frank . I've been communicating with a few vendors/installers of the various HID conversion kits & I'm starting to believe this might NOT be an issue for 2011-2012 SE5 RS-S :spyder2: owners.. (Which is why I asked folks for their year) This might just be isolated to 2010 &...

    RS-S (SE5) HID PROBLEMS

kleeg1st, DrewNJ, r1100rider, & anyone else who experienced this issue... What year/trans is your :spyder2:??? btw... to Sereniti... Even though the foil fix theory worked for r1100rider, the relay theory is more my flavor. Is this something you actually did to resolve a similar issue, or...

    RS-S (SE5) HID PROBLEMS

Well... If I had either kit, I'd DEFINITELY be willing to test the foil theory. I only stumbled on this post while researching how difficult/easy the install was. It now seems apparent that these kits cause issues with SE5 transmissions. At least the A&D Motorsports site clearly states...

    RS-S (SE5) HID PROBLEMS

:hun:...... Is this a true fix?? Foil wrap & tape?? Doesn't sound like something I'd be willing to risk. Sucks.... I really wanted this conversion along with some Halo's.:dontknow: Are all these kits one & the same? Do they all suffer from the same issue for SE5's? For example...

    RS-S (SE5) HID PROBLEMS

Any luck figuring this issue out? I've been looking around for answers, since I was just about to pull the trigger on getting an HID conversion kit from ebay, until I read a small disclaimer on the sellers website that read the kit wouldn't work on automatics. I have an RSS with SE5 trans &...

    crashed spyder

 I also hope & pray the rider(s) walked away with only minor injuries, but we all know it could've gone either way by the looks of that damage. I don't know about you guys/gals, but seeing images like this always make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. That's the LAST thing...

:gaah:Yeah... It bites Hiney.... Who knows... Maybe the guys who created it, have a patent on it. Or maybe the JBP & PCV folks put a hit out on them, so we have no other choice but spend $$$ for a fix.

Ok.... So riddle me this... Is the PCV with Autotune considered a Set-it-&-Forget-it solution? I'm sure it requires initial fiddling.... But after the initial set-up, will it adjust on it's own based on the environmental variances you mentioned? Cause if so, I'm just about ready to just...
