• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for the idea, just took panels off but hoses are fine, but after looking closer to the throttle body i have discoverd the front throttle body boot has cracked all the way around, probably why it's not throwing a code? Anyways i hope that is the only problem??

2010 RT wont rev past 3500 rpms.

This situation started a few weeks ago and is now a constant problem rendering my bike useless once again. Bike starts fine, idles erratic but it always done that, let it warm a few minutes put it in gear and stalls. Restart and try to rev it up it hits about 3500 rpm's then erratic dropping...

Time for Experts - Spyder Won't Start

WOT won't work for me? Had spyder out 2 weeks ago no issues..... for once, parked and went out on Sunday and would not start, tried again today after sitting for 2 days and still won't start, tried WOT and nothing. Why would it just die like this? I smell gas like it's flooding, makes no sense??

RT runs horrible at RPM'S of 5500+

New plugs and wires, a little better but still lacks power, still sputters when i open her up and bogs down, struggles in all gears going up hills even small rises, throttle feels heavy, still slow roll on throttle to get moving smoothly. Checked O2 sensors both around 13.5 ohms. Ran juice box...

RT runs horrible at RPM'S of 5500+

Wires and plugs on the way, i do have a question, can i leave the vent hose and canister as is now, or should i remove the canister and just vent the tank out the front of the bike?

RT runs horrible at RPM'S of 5500+

Well I took the plugs back out and did another inspection, the front cylinder white/light brown, rear cylinder was black and a slight smell of gas..so looking around on the forums I decided to plug the purge valve from the canister, took if for a spin and she flies, powers back and smooth as...

If i keep having problems i'll sell the bike for the 15 cents and pass on my blood pressure from my troubles to the next owner :gaah:. Bike does idle from 1300 to 1500 not steady, oil level is fine, while in neutral i can rev it up to 9000 RPMs it's only under load it won't break the 5500 mark...

Well after all my other issues here's a new one, bike starts skipping, bucking, missing, just runs like crap if I try to get it up to speed, slow roll and I mean slow roll on the throttle is all I can do. Absolutely no power on hills in any gear and the lovely vibration comes alive once again. I...

I Have a watter pump oil leak not good Leaking out the weep hole.

Figured out where to put the pump After looking at diagrams and the Spyder I figured out the best place for the new water pump. What I'm doing now is running the bypass hose from the thermostat into a tee connector a 3/4 x 3/4 x 1 which will be placed just after the fill tank, just past that is...

I Have a watter pump oil leak not good Leaking out the weep hole.

Pump housing wasn't modified, only where the shaft and seals were. Pump housing needs to stay due to a water jacket behind it leading directly into the engine.

I Have a watter pump oil leak not good Leaking out the weep hole.

Another Update Well I tried the water pump in 2 locations, 1st from the tank to the top of the old pump, didn't care for the initial over heat every time so I moved it in between the thermostat and the larger port on the engine pump housing, With the pump going from the tank when the thermostat...
