• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How long before it won't run with bad throttle body?

I am about a thousand miles into a new throttle body. Out last weekend went 120 miles with cruise set at 70, rig sputters into a nose dive but then recovers. Exit freeway, stalling, running rough, won't engage when throttle twisted. No discernable information is appearing on the dash, but this...

    BR1 IS IN TROUBLE

I'm starting to think like you George, mine has been in the shop several times, the shop is always willing and who wouldn't be with the guaranteed revenue stream from warranty work. When the warranty runs out and I can't afford to fix her I'm going back to a honda product. These machines are a...

    Anyone Living Outside the Warranty?

My rig is back to the shop for supposed bad TB, which is what I thought was going bad 2 months ago when the tech said it was only the spark plugs. But reading about George and his BR1 and his ECU going bad, I am wondering if the bad pothole I hit coming back from the Redwoods that took out a...

    Rear suspension leak

Thats good to know, I asked the tech about it last time the rig was in and he said "when you hit a bump it will release air"...REALLY?? I don't know much but if it is part of the SUSPENSION system why by design would it realease air over a bump. I didn't question him..just went with my own...

    Seal Floorboards, my review

Brake? Folks with the seal floor boards: In the pics it doesn't look like you could really depress the brake pedal past the level of the peg if you needed to. I can't really tell from sitting on the bike but pressing the pedal my foot feels like it goes past the level of the peg. My question is...

Questions - RPMs, Control Cluster, Lights

2011 RT SE5 AC I have looked through the owners manual and can't seem to locate the recommended RPMs for shifting from gear to gear. Would like any recommendations to increase the fuel range. Here in Oregon when we pop out of the back country there isn't always a gas station. On the digital...

    A survey about the Trailer...

Trailer Wishes I am still patiently waiting for my RT, they say it has landed at the dealer's 100 mi from me, but with the storms that are lining up out there I will be waiting a bit longer. I did not choose the trailer, in the past we have taken maybe 2 extended trips a year, just can't...

Spyder RT driver leg room vs Goldwing

I tried a GW trike and absolutely hated the leg stance on it and I'm not tall...5'4, I have sat on an RT and its a tad better, I prefer my VN900 cruiser position with floor boards. Manufacturers are coming out with hiway pegs and floor boards for the RT, when I get my RT I'm going to try the...

looking for corbin seat pics with and without stiching (RTs Only)

When I ordered my corbin (don't have it or the bike yet) I initially ordered without stitching. Dealer spoke to Corbin and they highly recommended stitching, that it would keep the foam in place and in shape. And if the riders are a little larger it helps to maintain the structure.
