• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dreaded seat again

Wow, thanks for all of the input. As mentioned part of my problem is my inseam, I rest my feet on the fenders on long trips. The ultimate tallboy was a great investment the addition of an airhawk might just help on the long days. I think if I were to do it over a Russell might be on the top of...

    Dreaded seat again

Is it the seat or is my butt is broken. The stock seat had me squirming at mile 50 with no relief after a short stop. My ultimate seat is good to around mile 80 and with a 10 minute stop good for another 80. Should I try another seat or is this normal? I have never been comfortable on longer...

    Uncontrolled braking?

I was going to check the brakes when I got home anyway, this just gives me more to inspect. I've driven some pretty sketchy stuff in my day, but this incident actually scared ME.

    Vacationing in Dover De

The camping is good, decent space and level ground. We stay in lot 10 and have never had any issues, good party and entertainment leading up to the race weekend.:bbq::cheers:

    Uncontrolled braking?

Yes, just got back from a 100 mi ride and no issues. What I did notice was the brakes felt better than ever and the squeal that its had since day one was gone until just before I got back today. I am pretty confident it was the specific situation and not the spyder.

    Vacationing in Dover De

We are in Dover for the NASCAR race this Sunday. I think I'll see if I can find this road house, any excuse for a ride!

    Uncontrolled braking?

That is very possible, we were only moving about 25 mph as well. I have panic braked from 60 before and was impressed with the sure footed nature of the abs/vss.

    Uncontrolled braking?

Anything is possible, but I know for certain I have hit the brakes harder panic stopping and you are correct the brakes are impressive. All I know at this point is that was the first and hopefully the last time it does that, I checked and have no codes this morning so we'll see how it goes today.

    Uncontrolled braking?

Thanks for the responses, I didn't have time to check for codes tonight but I will tomorrow. Yes definitely going to the dealer after vacation.

    Uncontrolled braking?

Not sure if I have a problem or it's me, I'm guessing it's me. My wife and I were ridding in ocean city today when under normal but brisk braking we suddenly found ourselves hanging on for dear life. Neither of us were sure what happend, I asked my wife if the car behind us hit us, she asked me...

    Anyone else have this problem

Wanted to ride so I topped off the reservoir and haven't noticed any leaks sense. After reading the other comments I believe it is an environmental related issue, it only shows up in the late fall/winter time frame. Something must contract enough to leak below a certain temperature, or...

    New toy hauler?

Thanks for the input Jack, we considered the Work and Play line as well.

    New toy hauler?

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks. How well does it fit between the stove and the pantry, that was my gretest concern. Does it need to be angled, anything else to know about?

    Anyone else have this problem

Mine is on the trailer with an empty recovery tank waiting for the dealer to finish the snowmobile season, hopefully they can find the leak this year.

    New toy hauler?

Thanks, we are looking at that model as well. I thought it might need to be loaded off the hitch, the electric jack is a nice feature.

    Key Fiasco

This was for an 08, the original key was lost in transport so they cut the replacements from the vin, the hoops to jump through to prove ownership was fun too.

    Key Fiasco

Just went through this with a Ford superduty that didn't have a key. Surprisingly Ford couldn't tell if it had a chip key or not so we cut the cheap key first, which worked fine, they chip key we needed wouldn't work at all. Ford wanted to sell us a new ignition which didn't make sense because...

    New toy hauler?

We are thinking about replacing our present camper with a toy hauler. We are thinking about the Forest River Grey Wolf 22rr (wide door) which would be tight for our 2015 RTs, but should work. Anyone have any experience with this hauler? We will obviously test fit our spyder before we purchase...
