• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT in crosswind

YIKES! Reading some of these posts is making me feel uncomfortable about a 5000 mile west coast trip I am about to take in mid June. I've ridden 2 wheels through 40-50 mph sustained cross winds on my way to Glacier Nat'l. Park, with an occasional 60-70 mph gust........not fun. Actually, and...

    Need some advice

Ridden 2 wheels for 45+ years..... Yes, I know about twin engines dissipating heat. I have only owned twins, and the last 25 years they have been Harley's. They get hot, and Harley a few years ago came out with a heat shield that helped. All I was looking for is does anything help? Because...

    Sena SMH10 Universal

Thanks for all of your help in deciding on a bluetooth headset. I chose the Sena SMH10 Universal. However, I can't get my iPhone and my Zumo 665 to work together. Do any of you have the Zumo 665 and iPhone?? Depending how I connect them, I can get music from my iPhone, and make & receive...

    Bluethooth Headsets

I have a few questions about bluetooth headsets. It appears that Sena is the preferred, prominent headset. Question #1 is are there other better or comparable units to consider? I also appreciate comments regarding mic booms vs no boom. Do booms fit in the Shoei Neotech full face flip up...

    Help with engine check light

I purchased a 2012 RT SE5 with 2500 miles. Since the weather here has improved from our ugly winter, I have had it out a few times. I put maybe 150 miles on it. Then I decided to get the oil and filter changed for the riding season. I was on my way to the dealer when an engine check light...

Cruising RPM & cruise control questions

I have a 2012 RT SE5. It is new to me. Only put about 100 miles on so far. What RPM is the most efficient for cruising? Also for shifting. I'm told that at any speed it is 4000RPM. Seems a bit high. It also appears you do not have to roll off the throttle when shifting. I was finding by...
