• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Testing the BajaRon 110 miles

I had my sway bar put on at the dealer, it took them about 40 minutes. It was a 50 mile trip, mostly single lane highway, with speeds around 60 mph to get to the dealer. Not a lot of curves, but plenty of big rigs (eighteen wheelers). On the way to the dealer there was definitely some turbulence...

Former RS owner, ready to pull trigger on 2013 RT

Just had my 2013 RTS recall done, took a ~150 mile test ride, stopped for gas. Gas cap, that use to be very hot is now barely warm. I was happy with the performance and results after the recall. However, while my bike was being worked on, I took an F3-S for a test ride. It definitely felt like...

    Hate it

That sucks! But at least they knew you were there. Sometimes I stay in front of a vehicle that I know sees me instead of changing lanes, so the next time I come to a stop, I feel confident the vehicle approaching from behind will not rear end me.

    The Spyder Shake

Not too long ago I took my 2013 RTS in for some service. One issue I had was squealing brakes. The service manager said that they typically sanded or removed the glaze (or whatever) from the break rotors and the squealing would go away. I said OK, get her done. Needless to say there was still...

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

I actually feel the fix will help and applaud BRP, but being in the business I am in, I can't help but to be concerned about the way BRP handled dissemination of the information. I have received recall notices from Ford, Toyota, Nissan etc.. and never once have I had the dealer say as some have...

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

The fix seems fairly comprehensive and I personally feel that it will help the heat issues, if done correctly. Being an ex aircraft mechanic, I worry about the quality control and inspection of the work. Is BRP doing anything to insure that the work being done is to the letter of the law, such...

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

My dealer said that they do not have the parts, because BRP did not send them the parts. Shouldn't the dealers and BRP be in better communication? The dealer said to call back in mid June. Do the dealers have to request the parts before BRP sends them out? The dealer didn't seem to be very...
