• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RS vs RT vs F3

Dan; i can elaborate off line but if i do end up staying with the RS (it's certainly the most affordable) I have found if I periodically hold my brake leg out and agains that lower back trim piece i can relive the pain briefly and reset myself for a bit further. I just don't like hanging my...

    RS vs RT vs F3

I started to take that the wrong way I think but realize it wasn't meant as I first read it. yes. I do totally agree. It is, however, not an option I have or at least am aware of. As Far as rental. I'm not even aware of bike rentals around here with the possible exception of an HD down in the...

    RS vs RT vs F3

Ya.....about that. I Should have clarified. The fellow I got it from told me it is specific to the 2012 RS. I was going to include it in my listing but I didn't have the before dyno results to prove it, I didn't want to be accused for false advertising:yikes: Thank you for sharing that and...

    RS vs RT vs F3

Thank you both. The comparison with personal opinion is exactly what I was hoping for. strengths, weaknesses, comparison. Yes, I'd love to ride each. Unfortunately with my local dealer that really isn't a viable or at least probable option. Thank you. As far as what I'm looking for. I...

    RS vs RT vs F3

I'm not sure where to put this so if I'm in error. go ahead and holler. And as always, thank you everyone for putting up with me. So I've bonded with my new to me RS. Smitten with it and angry with myself for being afraid of the Spyder so many years. We've added the air foil, pulled...

You Sir, Bear some culpability:D Seriously, thank you all. It's what I was I am looking for. Opinion and experience. One of the issue for me is the local dealer doesn't seem overly amenable to visits, questions, and sharing of information. I've visited probably three or four times over a good...

    Removal of Taillights

You have to remove to replace the bulb. Well, essentially. If you have the manual look at the section it still applies to what you want to do, or so I believe it does based on your post and my understanding of the RD I am presently caring for.

    Removal of Taillights

Sure does seem that way. Maybe I haven't been around long enough to butt in but...... as an FYI - the owners manual (at least 2012) has an instructional on removal under bulb replacement. I don't know that the same exists for your year or that the procedure remains the same. If it does I'd be...

Ie been a rider for 4+ decades. I road a spyder long ago. Scared a Cr*p out of myself. But remained spyder curious. After 8 yrs or so I finally broke down in a moment of weakness and procured a 2012 RS. I've had it nary 2 weeks, most of which was pouring rain and time spent getting her plates...

BM - thank you for the kind heads up. That will be my homework. Now you have me wondering. I've been chomping at the bit since seeing that cognac 2014. I've been drafting a post for my RS so I could go cognac shopping. Am I getting myself into another pickle, or is it Jam,

Oops sorry about that. Well...I still haven't been on the highway but I'm pretty comfortable giving it the 2 thumbs up. I got it with the clamp on kit. I javent played with adjustments yet.
