• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    chrome plating

Somthing to think about... Just a thought. If you are going to ride and enjoy this machine, chrome is not the way to go. If it is a sunny day ride OK then. I tell you, it will look beautiful at first but your up-keep maintenance time will go way up if you want it to always look good. There...

Front pulley nut question, please help!

I have seen so much talk concerning problems with the front pulley bolt coming lose. When you retighten that bolt on the SE5, are you just too set the rear break to stop the pulley from turning? It seems to me the pulley would seat better if there was no tension on the belt at the time, but...

    SM5 shifter question

What boborgera said is spot on... There has been lots of tranny work because people preload the shift lever and don't know it is happening until the shifting fork internally is warn and incapable of completing a shift stroke and that is big dollars for something so easy to change. Cold engine oil change.

What I have heard... The only thing I have ever heard was, if the oil has been sitting in the motor for a period of time, some of the contaminants that would be suspended in freshly circulated oil can settle to the bottom of places in the motor. The thought is that you will not get out all of...

SE Transmision stuck in 1st G

I think this was the fix... Same thing happened to me many moons ago. But I was the cause. I pulled in the driveway and stopped, then I reached up and turned off the key while it was in first gear. Don’t hold me to this, but I think if you are in that condition all you have to do is depress...

What to do, what to do...

Have you thought about this? I almost hate to give you one more thing to consider. There are special hand lever adaptors available for some bikes that make it so much easier to pull in the clutch lever. You might see if one of these might be adaptable to your spyder. There are also...

Looking for Spyders with Custom Dynamics SPX15 exhaust

I have it on my Spyder I have one of what you speak and I love it. It is very well made, all stainless steal and a glass pack too boot. Sound is great. I would consider it a good bit louder than the Hindle. For the money it is a great way to get a little more sound that this machine deserves...

I have an 09 SE5 with 250 miles on it. I took it out for an easy ride around town with the wife on the back. It ran just fine until I returned home. I shut it off in the drive way to let the wife off. Within a minute or two I got back on and went to start it to put it up. I turned the key on but...
