• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Toy Hauler

Scotty I checked the towing capacity of the F150 5.4 V8 4by4 Triton super cab. using the source you sent me. It is 8300 lb. So with the spyder and additional stuff , I should be around 6000 lb, still 75% of maximum recommended which intself I am sure has a factor of safety as engineers call...

    Toy Hauler

Thank You Scotty and HDX for your input. Scotty, I did check with the manufacturer about the exact dimensions and you are, as always, very perseptive. Yes pulling forward , I only have 64 inches width which will work, as the spyder is 59.5 inches wide. Backing into the trailer will be probably...

    Toy Hauler

I have been evaluating toy hauler manufacturers with the intent of purchasing one for my spyder. I am thinking of buying a Jayco Octane 161 which for 2010 weighs only 4000 LBs. It is only 20 feet long so should be fairly easy to tow with my F150 ( my first traier). My idea would be to haul my...

Manual (SM) or Elecitric Semi-Auto (SE) shifting?

2009 SE5 and love it. I think it is more convienent, just like an automatic transmisson in a car vs. a stick shift. I focus more on enjoying my ride rather than the driving aspect??!.

    BRP Comfort Seat

I chose to go with Corbin seats. Just had them installed last week. Very comfortable, beautiful and I think add to ones stability on the spyder. Very pricy though. $1,235. for front, back and a backrest with a color matched glovebox.

Just had my Corbin seats installed yesterday by my wonderful dealer. I had my Corbin seats ordered back in August, but it took till December 9th. to arrive at the dealer. On that day the temperature was 12 degrees where I live and below zero if you count the wind chill. There was no way I was...

Why did you think you needed a fuel pressure regulator. I think if BRP ENGINEERS thought one was needed they would have one in their product DESIGN. just a thought
