• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Need RT Passenger Arm Rest's

I have a set from Corbin that works well and my wife likes them.

    Anyone have a pellet grill?

I had a Traeger for a couple years; didn't like it and sold it. I currently have a Yoder and it's a lot more versatile. It comes with three "sear" grates that can be used by removing the drip pan and replacing the left side standard grate. Then you can position the lower baffle "in" to...

iPad Mini for GPS Route Maps

I have an iPad Mini with the TomTom app. I used it when I had a Victory Vision and was able to plug the audio-out port to the AUX speak outlet on the bike. Worked great. On the Spyder, I tried attaching the RAM mount to one of the bolts on the dash, but it shook badly and was hard to read...

    Different kind of highway pegs?

Thanks for the ideas. We'll see what I can come up with.

    Different kind of highway pegs?

I have a 2014 RT Ltd. and me having a 31-32" inseam, I need highway pegs. I have looked at (and tried) one of the sets that have the peg positioned above the curved splash guard. Those do me no good. First, they don't let me stretch OUT -- just UP. That puts my hips at a more-acute angle and...

    Hate it

I know someone very well who carried a container of clear marbles on his bike. Serious, annoying tailgaters would get a handful of marbles tossed from over the shoulder into their windshield. That seemed to stop them. (Of course, go like he!! after that.)

Do I Need a Special Tool?

OK, so I shouldn't take them out. What about the loose panels? Do I still need one of those special "safety" bits to tighten them up or just let them flop?

Do I Need a Special Tool?

OK, so why wouldn't my tool kit have one of those bits? Why would my dealership (admittedly, I talked to a salesperson and not a mechanic) basically say I didn't need that? Where can I find those special bits? Thanks.

Do I Need a Special Tool?

I noticed the side panels on my 2014 RTL were loose. I took out my tool pouch to find the right Torx bit to tighten them. Lo and behold, I discover the screws have a "nipple" down in there preventing the Torx bit from entering. Whassup with that? I stopped by my local dealership and asked...

What have you found/fitted for Highway pegs?

I "only" have a 31" inseam and face the same problem of not being able to stretch out my legs. Most of the highway peg setups I've seen for the Spyder amount to pegs that ride above the curved splash guard. Those only let me raise my foot and not stretch out. That puts a more acute angle on...

    Tire Air Pressure Gauge

What engineering genius at BRP decided to point the rear tire valve stem toward the hard-to-get-to pulley-side instead of the wide-open other side? Also on my 2014 RT Limited, I have the 12-spoke chrome front wheels and the valve stems are a pretty tight squeeze to get to. Maybe extensions?

some kid was very sassy in taking a test

There was an old story about a college philosophy professor gave one question for an exam: "Why?" One student answered: "Because." Legend has it the student got an "A" on that exam.

What Should CanAm Have made Stock ?

I know backrests are optional, but for the price they charge for one, it darn-well ought to be adjustable.

My son is a Shriner and their local organization has started a "fleet" of these for parades, etc. Pretty cool!

    Back Rest

I feel the same way. BRP really missed the mark by not making the factory back rest adjustable forward/backward. Currently saving up for an Ultimate Tall Boy seat with their adjustable backrest.

Question to those of you who have the Rivco Flag mount and flags

I have the trunk mounts on my 2014 RT Limited. The only issue that has come to my attention is from a friend following me. He says one flag flies toward the rear and the other flies toward the front! I must be creating some sort of wind vortex. He says it looks funny.

    Highway foot rest

I have a set similar to these on my 2014 RT Limited. The pegs sit right above the curved splash guard, or whatever it's called. I'm 6'2" with a 31" inseam. I usually place my feet as far forward on the floorboards so my toes touch that splash guard. The pegs do nothing but make me raise my...

    Run Flat Tires

When I had a Victory and read the Victory forums a lot, there were several members who ran Dunlop Winter Sport run flat snow tires on the rear with reportedly great results. It would seem like a great option for the Spyder's rear tire since you don't lean them like 2-wheelers. Disclaimer: I...

    Battery Tender Question

Yes. That's exactly what I do with mine. Just change the fuse (in the frunk) that is associated with the 12V plugs so that it's on all the time and not just switch-activated.
