• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need some advice about a suitable cover sturdy enough to protect my Spyder if left outside for several months?

What about one of those tent covers that you drive into and then pull down and secure. Can't remember the name and can't find a link right now. They're made out of heavy canvas and resemble a miniature quanset hut.

My Battery Life Span and some Replacement Tips.

I think we have all fought that B*TCH the first times replacing that bracket. Then it "clicks" and you put it on easily from then on. Can't describe how to do it, but the 2 tabs just start magically aligning with the holes.

2026 S2S transmission failure - Anyone else having similar issues?

Probably a small piece of trash floats into one of the valves in the control module. BUDS2 can be used to open and flush out the valves.

Too hot to ride, or maybe I’m just getting old

I have been playing with one of the cooling vests from Alphacool https://alphacoolproducts.com/collections/circulatory-cooling-vests for the past few weeks. It helps, but it's not the full answer. It's good for about 3 hours before you need to replenish the ice. It has 3 pumps speeds, but you...

Are there any decent Sun covers for when Spyders are parked?

I have the BRP travel cover for overnight use. While quick and easy it's still too much of a pain for daily sun protection use. If you find something please let us know.

Just a word to the wise about rear brake rotors.

You should have tried Lamonster 's or Baja Ron's and got a EBC rotor. BTW, the ABS does not read off the rotor.

Is this Rubber band feeling from stop normal? Don't notice it again once started...

The difference you feel is the two different clutch setups between the models.

Question about the 4 PSI rule for tire inflation

You have to remember it's a rule of thumb. Even if you disregard the Ride-on, you are lightly loaded and you don't mention the riding conditions. If you were riding hard in twisty conditions it would raise the pressure more than a leisurely cruise down some back roads. Based on my experience...
