• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Requesting Helmet Measurements for a New Database

Update. On 1/11/16 the people at Revzilla measured many helmets for me. They recommended the Bell Mag 9 Sena Helmet. I ordered it and got it today. I tried it wth the 45 mm cheek pads and couldn't get it over my ears. But, it fit fine with the 25 mm cheek pads. See the new diagrams I added to...

Requesting Helmet Measurements for a New Database

Interesting website. I measured my head and it is an intermediate oval, not round oval. It is my jaw that is wide. Therefore, head measurements won't help with my jaw. Yesterday, a salesperson at Revzilla went around measuring helmets the way I asked them to. They recommended the Bell Mag 9...

    Helmet Problems

I wrote to many manufacturers. Nolan actually called me. The rep said that I have a round oval head. Most helmets made today are long oval. That is why it hurts me on the sides. He suggested trying Arai. I did and found that all of the round oval helmets Arai makes have been discontinued. John

Requesting Helmet Measurements for a New Database

I hated that video. Absolute bull****! They are assuming that everyone has the same head anatomy. That is not true. Some people's head is large on top and tapers towards the jaw. Other's have the opposite shape. These designers should take a course in human anatomy. John

I called them many times and ordered many helmets they suggested. Nothing worked. They didn't understand the problem and are not willing to measure helmets for me. John

    Helmet Problems

Am I the only person who has problems getting a helmet to fit and putting it on and off? Look at the measurements I made at http://www.wb2lua.com/marticles.htm As you can see the CL-33 shell is much wider at the jaw line than the IS33 II. The IS33 II hurts my ears putting it on and off. The...

Battery Powered vs Bike Powered Heated Gloves

Cold? weather test. 1/8/16. Today was 41 degrees F. It wasn't very cold. But, it was what it was. I started out with the gloves on high. After 15 minutes my hands started to sweat. I lowered the heat to medium. After 15 minutes, my hands were still sweating. I lowered the heat to low. After 15...

Iphone 6 or Zumo for Gps and tunes

Last summer, my iPhone shut down in high temperature weather, which is typical for the iPhone. Then, I installed the Zumo 390. Then, I sold the bike with it and got the F3-S. Now, I keep the iPhone in my pocket and use Mapquest for voice directions through my SENA SMH-10 headset. I like...
