• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New York is Trike Unfriendly

Ask who why? the NY DMV will barely give you the time of day. They make everything as difficult as it possibly can be. The only answer I would get after wasting hours and hours of time is "that is the law." John

    New York is Trike Unfriendly

The tolls for trikes are more than double for a tire than that of a car or motorcycle. For example, trikes pay $23.50 R/T on the Tappan Zee (peak) versus $9.50 for cars. I would leave New York in a heartbeat if I was offered a job elsewhere. I don't live in New York City. But, I have to pay a...

    Thermometer

I wonder how many people realize the outside temperature gauge is not correct and switch the display to RPM. Ironically, when I go to switch the turn signals on with thick winter gloves, I somehow keep changing the display to RPM. Maybe I should leave it that way. John

    Thermometer

I just looked at the manual and it says it is "Outside Temperature." I made a second reading in my garage with the engine cold and the temp gauge matched my lab thermometer. They meant it to be outside temp, but placed the thermocouple in the wrong place too close to the engine. Maybe they...

    Garmin GPS

On my previous bike, I had the Garmin Zumo 390, which costs $600. Recently I purchased the Garmin 2597 automative gps from Amazon for $138. It doesn't need to be waterproof and I don't care about the brightness of the screen because I mainly use the voice directions. I need a gps that I can...
