• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Panel under oil tank and engine...???

Thanks. My plan was to get everything off, take her for a ride and warm up the oil, then get it in the air and drain the oil.

Panel under oil tank and engine...???

Ref: 2013 RT SE5 - going for a DIY oil and filter change I tried searching but didn't find what I needed. Sorry, if this is an old topic. I started taking off side panels for an oil change and got to the step to remove the plate under the oil tank. However I see there is a plastic panel under...

Can I purchase this piece or Glue???

JB Weld may also work for you. I had a post/tab break off the removable piece above that, and I used JB weld. It's now stronger than it was from the factory.

Mine stays in my new 12x16 toy garage, attached to the rear of the main garage. It's now insulated.

    trip a odometer reset

I'll admit that several times I've had problems resetting "A". Lately I'm having more problems setting the cruise button. They sure need to make it with an insdent, or click, or something. Sometime it will just not catch and you don't know it until you've lost 10 MPH of speed. Some days it's...

Link to my DIY HOT FOOT HEAT DEFLECTOR

Glad you figured something out! My material is only about 1/16" thk. so it was easy to just get a small pointed phillips head screw about 1/4" long and using a fat handled short screw driver, I just hand drove the 5 screws in. I did remove the black bottom scoop piece first which gave me some...

    I'm gonna skin my Spyder

Not trying to hijack this post, but I have a mirror question. After having the mirrors off only about 3 times (by the dealer twice and me once), they seem to be a little loose, and move up and down some. Is there any way to tighten them up? I checked inside at the clips and everyone looks ok...

    Hot Foot Heat Deflector

Well, I finally got in a ride after days of rain and muddy subdivision roads. I like this shield a lot, it deflects the heat away from my right foot just as I had hoped for. I wish I had done this sooner. BTW - The material I used is about 1/16" thick and just flexible enough to fit the curves...

HAVE YOU HAD THE 2013 RT RECALL WORK DONE YET?

I did the 2013 heat recall also, and so far I love it. I have no gas fumes, and no hot panels or glove compartment. I haven't been able to check the gas mileage yet, but I always got 30 to 32 MPG anyway.

    Hot Foot Heat Deflector

I did the heat recall on my 2013 RT Ltd. and that really helped for what it was supposed to do, but I still got a hot right foot from the fan exhaust. I know many have probably done some kind of modification for that, but I decided to try something on my on. I found an old white tote lid of...

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

I just got home from the heat recall service and pretty happy with the look of the new air scoop vents and the lack of the gas smell after a fill up, ride, and shut down. I rode 50 miles home from the dealer and found that the engine noise was a little more apparent but also sort of muffled, I...

    Jacking points

Good question. If you use ramps for the front, where do you lift the rear with a floor type jack to get all three wheels up at the same level (like for an oil change)?
