• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    WHEN I GOT HOME

I can't see a darn thing I pulled the right service cover to check the water level and I couldn't read anything, Fluid was not visible at all through the white plastic and it was so tight. Do I need to remove another panel?

Issue With Water In Front Trunk

Battery Access Panel The dealer did connect a lead for the trickle charger, maybe they didn't put the panel back correctly. Rain on its way so I will check another day.

Issue With Water In Front Trunk

Thanks for the pointers... It is in fact a 2013. I did peal back the lining and poured a cup of water in the latch hole and the water ran out the bottom as I assume it should. No leaking noticed in compartment, next I will pull out the hose.

    Question about RPM's

Gear sounds are loud Until I read your post I was taking it easy on my 2013 RT. I have been trying to keep track of the RPM's and I can't imagine hitting 5000 - 5500 consistently. I will have to hit the highway and wee what it is at 75 It has been more fun riding since I saw that the bike...

Issue With Water In Front Trunk

I made a stop at a roadside produce stand yesterday and loaded up the front trunk. When I got home and unloaded the bags I noticed the trunk was soaked. It doesn't look like it came from the bags. We have had torrential storms and my bike is outside, I had the full cover on for the big storm but...

    Potential RT Limited Newbie Too!

I couldn't agree more. I took a ride yesterday and hit about 300 miles since I got the bike. I'll say it, I love my Spyder 2013 RT-S SE5 the new vents look great and heat does not seem to be an issue. Got a little hot in traffic and 90's but cleared up fast on the go. I was afraid to hit the...

Former RS owner, ready to pull trigger on 2013 RT

What does adding a heavier sway bar do for the ride, I am experiencing a lot of back and forth motion on back roads with the pot holes and uneven road surfaces.

Former RS owner, ready to pull trigger on 2013 RT

Good Price I just purchased a 2013 RT-S SE5 last month, actually purchased it in May and had to wait for BRP to release the specs of the recall. My bike was also listed at 17,999 I offered 500 less and it was accepted. I also got a 3 year warranty included in the purchase however the prep fee...

    Potential RT Limited Newbie Too!

I forgot to mention, because of your height you might want to look for some highway pegs.

    Potential RT Limited Newbie Too!

I traded in my 1500 Vulcan for a 2013 RT-S SE5 and have ridden about 200 miles mostly on the back roads. I definitely miss the feel and comfort of a 2 wheel ride. The main issue is the bouncing back and forth on crowing roads since they are mostly uneven and have wear from all the traffic. That...

    No more heat

I just purchased a 2013 RT-S Se5 and have put about 200 miles on it. So far I am liking it very much but the ride is taking some getting used to, Former Vulcan 1500 owner so the ride is different. The new scoops look great and I think add to the overall look of the front view.

New to Spyder World! NHTSA Campaign 13V386000

Thats the issue I have been told the part is not available yet, I saw the release from BRP today and it seems to be addressing another issue - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment. I am not sure if it is a different problem or the master cylinder leaking and fire issue.

New to Spyder World! NHTSA Campaign 13V386000

Has the solution to Service Brakes Master cylinder campaign been completed? I purchased a 2013 Spyder RT-S SE5 that is being held by dealer because of a recall but it looks like this was addressed in 2013. Before I call the dealer back can anyone shed light on if this recall should have been...
