• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Slow riding question

I have been asked to ride my Viking Chariot in the St. Augustine Christmas Parade. I did this with my little Boulevard and it was the only bike that didn't run really hot. Last year we had to drop out because some of the bikes couldn't take it. Has anyone ever done this on a Spyder? I'd...

    2013 RT Heat Issue - Also Exists With 2010, 2011 & 2012 RT?

My brother in law heated and formed a small sheet of Lexan for my right foot...and it worked like a charm....got a black sheepskin to cover the seat and glove box and my heat problems are solved. The heat shield fits with no screws....so far it has stayed on. No worries.

    Side to Side sway.

Swaying or 'Tracking' No one has mentioned having your bike aligned. The front wheels are like a car and the 'toe' has to be adjusted. And like cars, they are not all the same and the out of alignment is different on them all. That's probably why the ball join replacement worked on some...

    Confirmed USA 2013 RT-S MELTING

Parts ordered Called the dealer this morning here in Daytona Beach. They found the approval this morning and the parts are ordered for my 2013 RT. Also, it seems that Mike at Spydercomfort has designed a heat shield for the heat under the glove box. I will be anxious to try that out also. I...

Spyder rental in the Florida Keys?

Another Thought Why not ride from home to Daytona Beach for Biketoberfest then ride to Key West. OR...if you are near DC....take the auto train down to Sanford with the bike, then it's an hour to Daytona and off you go. Lots of options and you don't really need a tour group. I really want to...

Spyder rental in the Florida Keys?

Being an old Flarda girl I would suggest renting a bike BEFORE you hit US1. The ride TO the keys is a joy. Oversea bridges and small Key towns along the way. Once you get to Key West...there is no place to ride. Lots of traffic and 'town'. It's a straight shot down there and no real riding...

    Lugging? Maybe?

    Lugging? Maybe?

I was in 5th gear no doubt. I didn't know any other way to describe the feel or sound.....I knew it wasn't really 'lugging' but it just felt like it. I'm going to get the belt checked today...if the rain will stop :)

    Lugging? Maybe?

Thanks :coffee:Thanks for all the posts. I did get a lot from it and will talk to the mechanic today. I don't do much on my bike for myself except check my tire pressure, hook up the Ipod and put gas in it. Why? Not because I can't, I simply don't want to. But thanks for all the input. It's...

    Lugging? Maybe?

HA Heck....if I'd known there was a club....I would have scooted on up to 100. :firstplace:

    Lugging? Maybe?

Thanks...that's what I do. Yesterday was the WORST gas mileage...but I know it was because I was 'flyin' on the interstate. My last bike was a little Suzuki Boulevard (805) and I loved it. But around 75mph, it would begin to feel unstable......not the Spydee. It feels solid, even passing 18...

    Lugging? Maybe?

Thanks Thanks....that is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you and I will be doing some research. I didn't know how to describe the feel except that it kinda feels like lugging....so now I have a place to start. :dg1:

    Lugging? Maybe?

Good Morning. I have 2013 RT Limited with about 3K miles on it. Taking it in this week for an oil change and to 'chat' with the mechanic. Yesterday, I rode about 50 miles on I95 really truckin' I watched my RPMs....as always, but I noticed something that didn't quite feel right. Around...
