• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear Suspension problems

Specifically the air spring, as it's called in the service manual. Is anyone having trouble keeping the air spring inflated? Neither of our RT's air springs will hold pressure for more than a few hours. My dealer/tech did the soap test with no visible leaks..any ideas? While on the rear...

    Windshield modification..

Nervous Scotty, I figured this guy was either very good or Kim's windshield was in mortal danger, with his doing the job in only 1 hour and for $30. He did come highly recommended by the local Harley dealer. "You get what you pay for"...kept ringing through my head. Also, "Too good to be true"...

The World's Best Places To Live 2010

Best Place to live I think everyone should think where they live is the best place..if that weren't the case, everyone would live down here in SW Florida where we live. It seems that they do in the dead of winter, (SnowBird Season), when there are more people here from Canada than seem to be in...

    Windshield modification..

Good suggestion... I appreciate your .02 cents, keep in mind I have to buy two of them. @ $350 each, that's a whole lot like $700...Ouch, that'll buy a lot of Spidie gas. If I can find someone who can cut the thing down and it looks good, most likely worth the risk.. If it doesn't work.... Plan...

    Windshield modification..

Anyone out there had any luck in cutting down the stock windshield on an RT? There are lots of how too vids on YouTube, but, it's a pretty scary proposition. I love the stock shield with one exception, when it's all the way down, I have to sit up too straight to look over it. The same goes with...

    What about the extended warranty?

B.E.S.T. Warranty in FL?? My dealer and BRP district sales manager Stephane Bertrand both told me personally that the BRP BEST warranty is no longer available in Florida. I tried to buy it and it can't be done. It was being sold in FL, however, as I recall, after March 20th 2010, no can do...

People asking to take spyder for a ride

Asking to ride your Spyder You can simplify the process even more than that. Tell them, I wish I could let you ride it but, I am the only rider named on my insurance and it isn't covered for any other rider. That's a fact in our case. My wife and I are the only riders specifically named on our...

    My Own Worst Enemy

Seam leaks Scotty, I have used this stuff in days gone by and it works very well. When carefully applied it seals the seams that allows water to make it's way in and soak the foam interior of the seat, with no visible evidence of the application..Len...

    Helmets

I've gotta go with Scotty's beginning statement. It's a personal preference thing. My wife and I rode many thousands of miles on two wheels in days gone by. Fortunately without ever laying one of them down. Thank you Lord!!! However, neither of us would consider riding out to the mail box & back...
