• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Solo trip advice

Hydration pack. Having completed an Iron Butt Qualifier several years ago, I highly recommend you use one. Also, make sure you get off the bike every 90 minutes to stretch your legs, even if just for a few minutes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    Rain gear and helmets

ORiley's Auto Parts. Just a generic mud flap. I cut off the fender piece to square it up, drilled two holes in the Spyder fender, and screwed it on. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    Rain gear and helmets

I live on the Oregon Coast. I've riden in the wet numerous times, never experienced the wet neck like I did on the Spyder. Of course, our contact patch is at least twice as wide as on a 2 wheeler. Solution? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    Gas & Temperature Gauges?

Interesting! Now I'll have to figure out what I want to install. The Speedo and Tach could both be eliminated also. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    73 Year old rookie here

That must be Dennis Dillon Motorsports. I talked to them last winter before I bought my bike in Oregon. Seemed like a good dealer, although they were just getting up and running then. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

The Adventure Begins, Riding with MS!!!!!!! This is going to be long one......

The shift should only be rough when going into Reverse or First. If you "speed shift" up thru the gears without shutting the throttle down, it shifts smoothly. If you shut the throttle off between shifts, it hesitates. You'll get used to the turn signal placement. I keep hitting it when...

First Ride Home on 2016 RT Special Scared the Scrap out of me - Handling Help

I experienced the same scenario on my 150 mile ride home. The most important thing I learned was that the bike has power steering. When you try to control it like a bike, it feels very jittery. I've now nearly 8K miles since March. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    DESS Key code again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You've misunderstood what I said. Another possible cause. The key was in the ignition the entire time I was working on the headlights, about 2 hours in the rain. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

    DESS Key code again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I stated above, I had the error code last week, covered the bike up, and tried it again this morning, with success. My wife came up with a possible suggestion as to the cause of the code!! Last week I replaced the Headlights in my bike, and it was raining at the time. To replace the...

    Updates for 2018...

Another idea for the RTs. A dual filament set of headlights instead of the phony shutter system. And, a motorized headlight adjuster. That was one of the best features of my Honda ST 1300. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
