• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are you still riding in the Northeast?

Still Riding Great thing about battery tenders. Only takes a second to unplug them. Rode 75 miles over the weekend. Temps pushing 50 degrees. Quite a few bikes out and about..

Rear End Collision Detection Using Wi-Fi

Rear end collision avoidance My LED trunk light with programmable brake light flasher by Custom Dynamics gives me a comfort level I didn't have before I had it installed. The trunk light doesn't come on until I hit the brake (not wired as a tail light too) and the OEM brake lights are...

    Missed the brake, almost crashed.

TricLed brake pedal The factory pedal on my 2015 was too small, especially when trying to find it when coming from the highway pegs. Added the TricLed pad and love it. One problem... the pad kept coming off. Added double sided tape to the metal pedal, put the pad back on. Problem solved.

    Airhawk R

Have two of them on our 2015 with the standard seat. It fits the passenger area perfectly. My wife and I are sold on the product. It does take awhile to get the air right. They look pretty much flat before you sit on them if you do it right. The best money we've spent on the Spyder!

    Brake Pedal

I know I've seen it here before but I just can't seem to find it. Where do I get a larger pad for my brake pedal? 2015 RT S. Since I added the highway pegs and use them a lot, the stock pad doesn't seem big enough when I go from peg to brake. Big foot, little pad. Thanks.

    Spyder RT Limited Stock Seat

Stock Seat Two Airhawk R's made a world of difference for my wife and I. A bit pricey but way less than a new seat. They have a "you bet your ass" 90 day money back guarantee that they will double your riding distance. Neither of us could go an hour with the stock seat and can go half a day now...

    2014 RT Ltd.... Cooked crotch

I'm not complaining but.. My 2015 was very hot to ride over the weekend with temps in the high 80's to 90 degrees. Everything inside the glove box was really hot to the touch. I tend to hug the machine with my legs and the inner thigh area was pretty uncomfortable. First time I've ridden it in...

    Squeak in new RT-s

Thanks to MOB133 Took the windshield off today & lubed all bushings with WD40. Problem solved. Rode 133 miles today without a squeak! Love my Spyder again... Thanks for the input folks and I hope this helps someone else.

Calling all 2014-2015 RT owners with "Belt Vibration"

It's normal.. Stay in 6th gear and go above or below the "problem area". I pretty much ignore it now.

    Squeak in new RT-s

Tried the windshield theory last night. When it is all the way up, no squeak at all! Partially down, less noise but it's there. All the way down, lots of squeaking. On the right track and I appreciate the feedback. I'll try lubing the bushings first. Thanks folks..

    Foremost vs. Allstate

I totaled a 2004 Ski Doo Renegade 800 with only 345 miles on it and Foremost gave me 1K more than I paid as they paid based on replacement cost and I bought through Spring order. They even wanted to buy me a new helmet! I have kept them for the sleds because of the great service. Having said...

    Squeak in new RT-s

Could be. The 2015s have no grease fittings there but I sprayed them with WD40 and it didn't change anything. You can't rock it back and forth and hear anything. Hit a rough patch in the road and it squeaks every time. More like something is loose than something that needs lube..

    Squeak in new RT-s

I have a 2015 RT-S that has developed an irritating squeak when you hit a washboard or rough section of road. I thought I had found the issue in the LH mirror, You could make it squeak by moving it by hand. Took it off, adjusted the clips, even greased the posts and it seemed fixed but noise was...
