• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Plastic Radiator Canister Cracked

Rode to work today and noticed radiator fluid under the spyder ('09 RS SM5, 23.5k miles) and in the right wheel well. Found out that the plastic radiator canister had a crack in it and there was fluid all over. This is the first time I have removed more than 2 panels off my spyder myself, so for...

    Rear brake light

When I power on my spyder the right hand side rear brake light does not light up, but if I press the brake pedal it does. What might be the problem? Doesn't seem a worn out bulb as it does come on when the brake pedal is pressed. Thanks DS

    Rear rim

Yes, this is factory installed rim. This is on a 2009 SM5, so manufacture's as well as BEST warranty is over. Will talk to the dealer and see what they have to say. Was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. Thanks. DS

    Rear rim

Hi All, While cleaning yesterday noticed that the coating (chrome) on the inside of the rear rim is peeling off. Attaching a picture here. Has anyone else experienced this? What have you guys done? Is this just cosmetic or do I need to change the rim? Thanks DS

    Spyder won't start

BajaRon and Spy+ right on the money you guys. When I try to start the vehicle, the needle drops to the red zone on the battery tester. I am thinking of replacing it myself (instead of taking it to the dealer), any tips, pointers or videos out there that will help me. Thanks.

Thanks guys for the valuable inputs. This is a first time for me so please bare with me. Recommendation for best dealers in Md.

Pete's Cycles I get mine serviced at Pete's @ Belair. They are not the best but much better than the others out here in the DC Metro or Baltimore area. Service is definitely better than Sales. Best thing about them is that I can wait there and get it done instead of dropping off my spyder.

    International Motorcycle Show, Washington DC

I was there and had a great time. Proud owner of the white cap now. Didn't get to meet anyone, as I don't know anyone personally, but I am sure people standing next to me belong to either this forum or the one of the spyder groups on FB. Did see the ladies in pink as they were showing off their...
