• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    GPS PURCHASE QUESTION

PatriotRider, that sure looks like an FJR with bar risers and factory screen. Speedbuggy, I have used two non-Zumo Garmin units over the years. As I do not do much riding in the rain the fact that they were not waterproof has not been an issue (well, almost, some scrambling for the zip lock...

    Cop detector

The last speeding ticket that I received was somewhere between Valdez and Anchorage. Middle of nowhere. My buddy's radar dectector had stopped working (I did not have one at the time). We heard the LEO say into his microphone that he had "just got numbers 13 and 14." Radar might have...

    Cop detector

I used a radar detector for years. I now find it far more relaxing to take "speeding management" out of my riding mind set. Don't get me wrong, I love moving fast on a bike and, especially, acceleration. I have found, however, that for me the extra saved time/thrill from going faster than the...

can people be this stupid with guns

I was thinking that some of the folks in the video, and their kindred spirits, might be future Darwin Award recipients. However, a review of the criteria for the award reveals that: Darwin Awards are unlikely to be awarded to individuals who shoot themselves in the head while demonstrating...

    BRP Needs Too-----

A couple of FJR friends moved up your way several years back. Funny, I cannot remeber their names...but I would get it right on a multiple choice quiz. Can you make out the words on the green sign below, akspyderman?

    BRP Needs Too-----

I have a Cee Bailey's on my current ride. I think I read somewhere that they, and possibly CalSci, were going to make windscreens for Can Ams. Then there are the Madstad's and F4's. Well, that is why I am here...to learn. BTW, where were your two signature photos taken? Somewhere in Alaska...

New guy here, looking for advice

I wonder if it is possible, on an F3, to bring the knee angle closer to the 87 degree angle of the ST without the right foot ending up too far from the brake pedal. It looks as if it might also reduce the hip angle (I'd rather increase it) due to the low seat.
