• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Service in Phoenix

Ridenow in Chandler has a good service department. They are not inexpensive and they are usually booked out 1.5/2 weeks for Spyder service.

First Robin this spring in Minnesnowta

Is it cold where you folks are at?? It has been quite pleasant all winter here. :ohyea: Then again, my summer may be enough to melt the rubber off the wheels......

    Anyone from Mesa, AZ?

I have been in Gilbert for the last six years. Great area, just a bit south of where you are looking. What would you like to know? I have access to the MLS if you need any searches.

K & N Air filter Replacement. Worth Doing?

I have seen these arguments regarding K&N for years as it relates to autos. I have never used a K&N OEM replacement. I did, however, use a K&N FIPK on a '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee for years. I finally sold it to my neighbor for his teenaged son a few months ago with 175,000 miles and running...

BajaRon swaybar and Spyderpop bumpskid installed. Laser alignment next week

The bumpskid actually was a pretty quick install. I spent more time on the swaybar. And Ann, yes, it was a bit discomforting jacking the front end way up, then having the bike move around a bit while trying to "coax" the new swaybar into place. Had jackstands in place under the A arms, but...

BajaRon swaybar and Spyderpop bumpskid installed. Laser alignment next week

I purchased my Spyder as a daily commuter vehicle to enable me to use the HOV lane on my daily commute to work of 30 miles each way. The Spyder has performed admirably in this task, and I have the added bonus of fewer blood pressure increasing foul language rants while stuck in traffic. 3500...

    BumpSkid Install

Upon further review, if I had read the statement in red ink ABOVE the photo instructions before digging in, I would have seen the clear instructions to remove the existing skid plate. D'oh! I hate it when that happens.

    BumpSkid Install

Getting ready to tackle the install of the BajaRon swaybar and SpyderPops BumpSkid. Perhaps it will become obvious once I get into the project, but looking at the instructions that come with the bumpskid, it is difficult to determine if the OEM skidplate is removed or if the bumpskid is...

    JACK

Is there any benefit to the aluminum jacks that run $175 at HF and Sears? Other than lighter weight and the opportunity to spend more money?

    Looking for your opinion's

I bought a new '13 RTS SE5 in November for $19,995. '14s were not out yet, but specs were. My desire for a spyder was for use as a commuter vehicle to enable HOV lane use. So I could buy a deeply discounted spyder then, or wait a few months and pay full price for a '14. i opted to buy then...

LIMITED VS RTS.....NEED TO DECIDE BY MONDAY...

Echoing most of the sentiments above....... For me, I love the blue with the blacked out accents, so it was an easy decision. My Spyder is an SE5, so automatic just like the limited. Really the only differences are the blackout vs chrome, no GPS, and no luggage. It wasn't a huge price...

    Spyder RT a "Toy" ?

Snow shoveling? Mid-80s in Phoenix. Of course, when you have pleasant summer temps, it will be about 147 degrees here.......

Adding BRP Bluetooth Dongle - Questions Answered.

OK....new Spyder owner here trying to figure out what functionality the dongle provides. I am already using a Sena SMH 10 in my helmet and pair it to my iphone via bluetooth. Does the Can-Am dongle provide any more functionality other than radio? Or is that it?

    belt tensioner

Apologies for a hijack of sorts; I am a noob and looking at upgrades. You mention the tensioner acts as a belt guard as well.....can you have both a spyderpops missing belt guard installed simultaneously? Or just the tensioner? Thanks!
