• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F1-EVO III INSTALLED AND LIMITED TEST

Well I would agree except that nobody else has gotten their products so wrong that folks have to fix them to make em work. Their aftermarket products are also new products for a new product! It really is no big deal and does not affect me as I have my refund now, I just thought it was funny. I...

Cutting bars no big deal! Loose NO WAY!

I have the same question. I have ordered 3" risers but what I really need is for the bars to come closer to me. I am wondering if I need to get the Pullback bars instead of the risers as I understand the risers only raise! Have I mentioned that being short can be a pain sometimes!!:dontknow:

F1-EVO III INSTALLED AND LIMITED TEST

I have to laugh a bit when I see the new product reports on Marcel's windshields. While it appears as though, for the most part, he finally got it right, I won't do business with someone who has to be called out publically to give a refund. The reason I find humor in the reviews is because I do...

Cutting bars no big deal! Loose NO WAY!

I was thinking the same thing. I guess I will call and change my order yet again!

Cutting bars no big deal! Loose NO WAY!

Would I get more rise by taking off the 1" riser and getting a 4" riser or would it be the same distance by keeping the 1" and going with a 3" riser? I don't know if the BRP riser just moves the bars up instead of up and back. I need them to be moved back and have not noticed any difference...

Riser MSRP is in! Pre-orders now being accepted

I have the same question. I was not thinking about the 1" riser when I ordered the 4" risers for the bars. Will this work? I can use all the rise I can get so I hope the answer is yes.

    Off Topic but relevant

I agree that snopes is usually pretty good which is why I checked there and why I added that there. As I said, to me, you are better safe than sorry in this case. It can be a huge problem to clear up your credit and identity once they are stolen.

    Off Topic but relevant

I am reading about all the travel everyone does on this forum and thought this info might be good. I am a financial crimes investigator and I went to a fraudulent document training class last week. I was told that SOME hotels put your financial information on the back of your key card. This...

New handle bar risers almost ready!

Can we see a close up pic of the outside part of the riser? The part you would see if you were standing on the side of the bike.

    Question for the Ladies

So a larger grip is better for small hands! Hmmmm, I guess I will be getting a larger grip.

    Question for the Ladies

I have not done that. I have tiny hands and was actually looking for smaller grips! Sorry!

My husband is still my best Spyder Accessory

Same here! He takes the time to make sure I know how to check oil, pressure, etc. but he always does it for me too! He served as my windshield for thousands of miles while I rode on the back and now he takes care of me while I get to be the "captain of my own universe" as I like to call...

    Bat to the face...splat

OMG, I would have died of a heart attack right then and there. We travel to the Dominican Republic alot for vacation and they have HUGE fruit bats. We call them night birds when they come out...makes me less apt to run away screaming! I know they serve a purpose but I will take a bug any day...

    Riding Gear?

If you are riding here in CO you are gonna want rain gear for sure. I wear a full face helmet. After I crashed my bandit and rode down the highway on my head, I decided that was a good investment. I lost some skin on my legs, bruised some ribs, and lost all the paint on my helmet but I lived and...

    Riser review

Mirror extensions It looks like with these risers, the mirror extensions might be needed. Is that true or am I just imagining this?

    Windshields

I would ride first without a windshield and then decide if you like the wind. I ordered a shield, it did not work out, and I am now glad. I like the wind. I have ridden in wind, rain, ice, snow, and really nice weather and the wind was fine. My longest ride has only been about 450 miles so a...

    Longs Peak

Yes this was taken in June. We have 54 "14ers" in Colorado which means the peaks are 14,000 feet or higher. Most of them keep some snow all year but this year has been odd with snow late into June. Let me know if you come through. We will show you around! Longmont is just north of Boulder and...
