• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cruise Assist Question

jvick, thanks for the link. The cruise assist discussed in that link is not quite the one I'm asking about. I was asking about the unit that is sold by ESI; one of the website sponsors. The question is more about "operability" once at cruising speed if the friction nut wasn't engaged from a...

Handlebar risers with the most pull back

Mr. Orange, thanks for your input. The reason for the lower cut seat was that I didn't find too many seats that would bring the rider closer to the handlebars. The bike came with the BRP comfort seat but the wife didn't like the incline position that is built into it. Tex, Dragracer, Thanks...

    Removing Surface Scratches

Striper, Thanks for your reply ! I clarified my post stating that the scratch is in the black plastic area of the nose and not the paint finish. It's more like a rubbed area instead of a scratch. Sorry for my lack of details. Ray

    Removing Surface Scratches

Hi all, I accidentally rubbed the nose of my wife's Spyder when I rode it up on a utility trailer. I rode it to far forward and the nose rubbed on the metal frame. The scratch is very surperficial and I'm looking to see if anyone can recommend how to remove this surface scratch. I wanted...

    Handlebar & Seat Newbie Question

Dynamo, I agree with you on being able to "test drive" the various seats out there before taking the financial plunge. As I mentioned earlier, the bike came with the BRP comfort seat so we're going to give that a chance before we decide on another seat. We're going to pick up the Spyder this...
