• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Corbin seats

I've had my Corbin seat for about 6,000 miles and after breaking it in I really enjoy it. My wife likes the passenger seat better than the stock. I think she likes the backrest more but it's wider and more comfortable. The Corbin seats and the ISCI floorboards are perfect for me. I have a 35"...

    "Spares" for Route 66 trip

I made part of Rt 66 this year and the only thing I took was a gallon of fuel. It came in real handy on my trip back through west Texas. There's a long stretch of nothing with no gas stations. It was the first time I arrived at a gas station with my fuel light on for about an hour and no bars on...

    Central Texas Spyder Riders

I'm up for another meet and greet. Really enjoyed the LaGrange meet. Been riding everyday in this cold weather but an open highway ride may be a little brisk. Let me know the date and I'll see if I can squeeze one in before Christmas. Mark

    Took a hit Sat. 11-21-09

Glad you are OK. I guess any accident you can walk away from is a good one. Also thankful that your granddaughter wasn' riding with you. Passengers don't always do well in a motorcycle accident. Prayers go out for a speedy recovery and maybe a new RT:2thumbs:

    Sitting up-right

I agree with the previous posts. The risers are great if you want to ride in a more upright position. I have the 4 inch risers and they work great. I also added the ISCI floorboards and now it's like sitting in a chair. Got tired of having my knees being in the original riding position for long...

    Route 66 trip

I rode part of RT 66 in 2009. I rode up from San Antonio (8 hours) to Shamrock, TX and rode as much of it as I could from Shamrock to Flagstaff. Great trip and nice destinations along the way. Would like to do the trip in 2011 but unfortunately got other trips planned. Rode the entire trip and...

If you took the RT demo ride post here

I test drove the RT on Saturday in South Texas. I thought the RT was better than the hype. (Probably to the dismay of my wife:lecturef_smilie:). The windscreen is the best. We have a rash of snout butterflies in South Texas as the result of our drought and they will cover you in a short period...

South Texas Suzuki CAN-AM Spyder Demo Truck

The BRP team and South Texas Suzuki did a great job on the demo tour. Got to ride the new RT and it was everything I thought it would be. I really like the windscreen and foot location. The person test driving it before me must have accidentally turned on the heated grips. About 2 minutes into...

Spyder RT Tour In South Texas!!

Hey Kelley - can't make it on that date but will wait till you get a 2010 at the store. Really enjoyed meeting you when HCMR stopped by a month or two ago. I had the Red SE5 w/the Corbin bags. I bought my 2009 SE5 from another dealership in SA and I know I'll purchase my next one from you. Keep...

Billy - have you thought about modifying the passenger floorboards you sell so that they will fit a Spyder with Corbin bags?

    Houston/San Antonio/Austin Meet/Eat Details

If we have some riders coming from the Austin area then Lexington would be a good idea. If it's just SA and Houston again then maybe a trip to Victoria would be about the same distance for all of us. Don't know of any good restaurants in Victoria so I'd be open to ideas. What dates work for all...
