• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster nbv vs fbb highway pegs?

So this is the fbb mount but turned in? How is the clearance from the inside end of the peg to the tupperware? Any particular extras needed to do this?

Lamonster nbv vs fbb highway pegs?

Can the fbb mount pegs be turned in so that you don't have to put your feet so wide?

Lamonster nbv vs fbb highway pegs?

Folks, can someone detail the difference between the lamonster nbv vs the fbb highway pegs? This would be for a 2014 rt-s. It looks like the fbb mounts only to the factory floorboards and the nbv mounts somehow to the frame of the bike? How different are the foot positions between the two...

    Advice on servicing

Folks, I will wind up having only about 1700 miles on my Rt-S before she goes in for hibernation. Just curious if I should have the 3000 mile service done before putting it up for the winter, get it done first thing in the spring before the season, or just wait until 3k? I don't really like...

    200mph?

I didn't even realize the speedo WASNT dual-tagged with mph/kph. I just assumed it was hence the reason for the question. I went out and looked and sure enough, just ONE scale, so this now makes perfect sense. These forums are awesome!

    200mph?

Folks, someone was looking over my Spyder today and asked how fast it goes "since the speedometer goes to 200 mph". I never really noticed the top reading on the speedo. Anyone know why they picked such a ridiculous top speed on the speedo? I don't think any of these models could do 200mph...

Latest Farkle - Roadster Renovations Spring Stiffeners

Just put them on today (position b) and rode 2up for about 50 miles. The dig in on corners is gone! My wife really felt it and is much more relaxed now when we corner. Install was super easy - it took longer to jack up the Spyder than it did to install them. Thanks folks for this GREAT...

    Etiquette question?

Folks, when you are going to park near other bikes that are 90degrees to the curb, with the Spyder, do you park like the bikes (90 degrees) or parallel to the road? Do you back in like the bikes?

    Vibrations at 70-80MPH

I actually ordered spring stiffeners because when I ride 2up, the front wheels tend to dig in on turns. The buffeting from the truck didn't affect the trike so much -- I just felt it myself.

Yes Chris, laser alignment done from the dealer before they sell any Spyder.

    Vibrations at 70-80MPH

Well, passed the 300 mile "break in", so decided to hit the interstate to see how the RT-S handles at 65+ MPH. I think I hit the belt vibrations that others have mentioned -- about 70-75, all good unless I hit it to accelerate -- then a very rough vibration, but seems to only be during the...

    Brake Light Modulator

Just installed my Can Am Spyder RT Gen 2 Magic Strobe Brake light flasher on my 2014 RT-s this past weekend. Thanks to Finless Bob for his videos -- helped with taking off the back panels/brake lights to get at the connector (because there sure isn't any other way to do it -- not enough slack...

    BIG 'E'

Same thing happened to me last week on my new 2014 RT-S SE6: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?80320-E-in-the-gear-indicator Once I started to do a more positive shift instead of a quick hit of the paddle shifter, I no longer see the problem...
