• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Elkas from 08 on 13 STS

I put my front Elka shocks from my 08 gs on my new 13 STS. The result are great corners flat no wondering. A little stiffer then the oem shocks but worth the trade off. I did need to back off the spring platform to lower the ride height to the oem original ride height. I checked the travel by...

    Kuryakyn Grip for STS

The 6183 grips do not fit a 2013 sts se5. But they do fit an sm5. They don't clear the shifter on an se5. Also they fit directly over the oem grips with minor trimming for an easy install.

OK, I'm ready,---------- almost. Elkas, or what?

Elka rear shock on 08 or 09 rs, NOT THE WAY TO GO! I have recently purchased an full set of Elka shocks for an 08 rs and I am not happy with the rear shock. If you adjust the preload for a cushy ride the shock bottoms out if you crank up the preload then the ride becomes harsh. I was told by...

I have a 08 gs and recently purchased a stage one Elka with preload adjuster. I am not happy with this purchase as the set up is very stiff and has not improved the ride for my passenger. I am currnently in contact with John from Elka to resolve this issue. As I was told BRP changed the shock...

SE5 Riding Suggestions for New Rider

Are you guys serious about these shift points, my RS sm5 is just starting to build power at 4500 rpm's. When I am by myself I like to shift at 7000 to 8000. I understand the initial break-in, but after that have some fun.

    Body screws

Trimming the notches with a dremel was not the way to go. It was fast and simple with a pair of side cutters on the plastic and I found you just need to put the clips on from the side on the steal tabs.

    Some Dzus tips

Neez I purchased the Dzuz hardware you mention above and have found that I need to widen the notch in the body panel where the clips(female) slide on or attach, otherwise the clips do not slide deep enough into the panel. This is on a 08 RS. The panels are already notched for the factory clips...

The Start Of The NASCAR Season...

Bob You did a petty good job with your explanation of the evolution of restrictor-plate racing. This year they also took away driver-to-driver communication. Without the ability to see thru the car you are pushing, you need to communicate with them so you don’t push them into...
