• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    gas fuel smell

I too have smelled the fuel smell, which is kinda rough when it is hot. The source of this is a tube coming from under the seat from a vent. I think I have a fix. I took some I believe 3/8" hose, which is run in place of the short hose. this was run to the rear of the Spyder and vented out from...

Octane I run 93 octane all the time from the first tank. The oil companies have screwed with the cetane rating and everything else till I just do 93. 87 octane breaks down quicker than it did in the past. i usually get about 30-35. I'm a little heavy on the throttle...

    Tire life after 12,000 miles

About the same money as a regular motorcycle for tires. I don't think I ever got 12,000 miles on anything I ever owned. There is more tire surface contact area on the Can Am than a regular motorcycle I guess. Hopefully in the future we will have more tire availability options.:doorag::2thumbs:

    Can Am Handlebar Risers

Hey Tim, I left a post on those risers. Some of those risers are off and will not line up straight. My handlebars were off when the new riser was installed. Can Am is aware that there are some that are cast incorrectly. My alignment was off from the beginning. Can Am warranty covered re-...

    Handlebar Riser

:agree: I rode Harleys before as well as Hondas and all the accessories are expensive. All those companies look at how much the market will bear. i.e. price gouging in a sense.

"JUST DROVE A CAN AM "TRIKE" AND HATED IT. "

I went over to the Goldwing site and read this so called review. This guy is full of :edit:.I had a GL1800 when they first came out I believe it was a 2001. That being the case this guy has had 20 GL1800's in 7 years and lives in Pa. which can reduce the amount of riding time for most riders in...

    Handlebar Riser

I have the same issues, but Can Am built and sold them so warranty can cover it. It's not like we didn't pay enough for them. :doorag: :agree:
