• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yes! Another tire thread...question

I have a 2015 F3s, and up until last year I had the stock Kendas until I upgraded to the same size Evos, and that was obviously a great improvement. This year I purchased a set of PPA wheels on sale, and so I went with the 175 size azo1's. Haven't had a chance to mount them yet, but pretty sure...

Options for covering a F3 LTD

I have this on my F3, but your information, it is very slippery on the inside, and blows of very easily in a good wind unless secured with bungees.

    Tires

Just my 2cents.. If your dealer won't pass your inspection with car tires, just go a motorcycle dealer or repair shop that doesn't sell CanAm's! They most likely wouldn't know the difference.

    Tire/wheel balancing my experience

If I could chime in here.. The Centramatic balancers don't come off with the tire, so the techs wouldn't know not to balance (although now I'm finding out that having the tire balanced would make the Centramatics job easier!)

    Question About F3 U-Fit?

I originally got my F3 with a plus 1 brake rod for an extra $29, I believe. After adding the Lamonster driver backrest, I am going for the plus 2 rod to keep my legs at a similar extention. I'll probably put the shorter one up for sale on Ebay.

BRP Cover doesn't last too long..

You're probably right, but it was my last resort! (And it was on the lowest setting..)

BRP Cover doesn't last too long..

After the inside cotton had started to peel away around areas that they're shouldn't be any (exhaust, rubber tires), I actually took the time to peel that damaged layer off, and run it through a light dryer cycle to remove any loose fibers, so they wouldn't stick to the bike. All to no avail...

BRP Cover doesn't last too long..

Just a heads up in case anyone was thinking of buying a full cover from BRP; Don't do it! After less than two years, the cotton inside has decomposed, leaving a fine layer of hard to remove lint every time I remove it.:yikes:

Will gravel road harm the tires?

I sustained some belt damage somehow, and if you check an earlier post from me, my dealer wanted to replace the belt and both sprockets.. SFSG, with the "damaged drive system" but I will have the belt replaced eventually. Just keeping an eye on the belt, but IMHO they are built to take some road...
