• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

14 & 15 RT's and the battery tender (battery maintainer)

I ran the battery tender plug out behind the battery and out to the right side of the Rt. I zip tied it just above the a arm behind the tire. It is out of the way, out of sight, and easy to plug in when I need to charge the battery. I didn't want the hassle of having to open the truck and unzip...

    Not feeling the magic.......

I also just traded a Gold Wing for a RT and I have just over 600 miles on it. I will admit it felt different but I never felt unsafe on it. To me it handles a lot better than the Gold Wing trikes I had been test driving before I decided to go with the Spyder. After a couple hundred mikes I can...

Lamonster BBQ Oct. 9th-11th- Springfield MO

Cancelled as well. The wife and I hated to cancel but she only has a few days left she can take off this year. We decided to wait and try Spyders in the Smokies maybe the weather will be better. :(

    Greetings

Just made the switch myself! We've been riding Goldwings for the last 25 years along with several other bikes but our primary touring ride was the Goldwings. I'm very happy with the Spyder Rt and I like it better everyday I ride it and my wife loves it. Even in it's stock form it fit me better...

    Ride-on tire sealant

If your tires are already balanced do you pull the weights off when you add the Ride-On?? I just had new tires put on my Victory and the front tire has a little vibration in it. The rear tire is good and the tires on the Spyder ride smooth as well but I want to add Ride for the sealing ability.

    New spyder owner-Very Disappointed!!!

One of the first things I learned from this site was that tech and service issues were a major problem. So when I began my search for a Spyder I made it a point to talk with the shop foreman and the techs that worked in the shop. If they didn't have time to talk to me and explain what training...

    Still on the fence?

The wife and I have been looking at the RT for three years now and after riding the 2014 I decided BRP had the RT where I thought I would be happy with it. I've had at least one bike and some times three or four at a time since 1976 and logged lots of touring miles on Ultras and Goldwings. So it...

Well we finally made the move and and purchased a RT this week and I now realize I waited waaaaay to long before getting one. We booked our rooms and we're looking forward to meeting everyone and putting some faces with the names I've been seeing on the board for all these months of lurking and...

    Today's the Day

I like the new red RT! I guess there wasn't any convenience or comfort upgrades to speak of so I'm off to get a 2014 in the morning.

    Today's the Day

Well it's the 23rd when will we know what BRP has for us in 2015? I'm wanting to purchase an RT this week and tomorrow would be great but I'm waiting to see what changes in options and colors for the 15's. If anyone has heard please post it and share where I can take a look. I know if I get the...

First long ride with the wife,.......seat has got to go!

I've had good luck with Corbin but they're not for everyone. I have also had seats reformed by a qualified craftsman with good results at a much lower price than that of a new seat. They can take your measurements, weight and height and reshape your seat to conform to you and even add pads or...

    RT SmoothSpyder Belt Tensioner

If you use that logic then adding an after market seat, arm rest, pegs ....ect, that are not BRP products would void your warranty as well. They will not warranty the after market part itself as it is not theirs and as far as damage they would have to prove that the damage was caused by the...

I haven't missed any riding I already own a Goldwing and a Victory and my wife also has a trike she rides. We thought if the RT worked out we would get rid of the trike and Goldwing.

I haven't made the trip to Springfield yet but I did speak to them on the phone and I was impressed by their willingness to answer all my questions and spend time with me over the phone. Most dealers spend only limited time on the phone and most of that time they spend trying to get you to come...

Hello everyone, I've just become a registered user but I've been visiting this board for over a year now. My wife and I have been looking at the RT for nearly two years now. Last year I was all set to pull the trigger on a new Limited and that was when I found this site. I'm glad I did because...
