• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Example of what helibar will look like.

While I haven't read all the posts on the helibar controversy, here's a link to their website. This link shows a picture of the ST1300 riser. Supposedly, their Spyder riser will be similar to that of the ST1300. I am told that..."The bars themselves will not be adjustable as it will retain the...

local deal will NOT get any more business from me

Sorry to read that you had so much trouble with this dealer in Co. I just want to say that there are indeed ethical dealers out there. Nord Ride in Mt. Morris, Michigan is great, both in sales and service!

    Kewlmetal Bars

Morning James, Bob and I were thinking along the same lines as you...that we should travel over your way and take a first hand look at these Kewlmetal handlebars. When do you leave for Gatlinburg? Also, I thought you were considering Industry7's windshield?

    Kewlmetal Bars

"Also, my wrists now have to get used to the new position. I appear to be using muscles I don't normally tax. Missing my left grip may also be a factor... I'll have the F1 Slide mounted next week" What do you mean about your wrists...as quoted above? Are your wrists tired? Please say more...

    Windshield Again

Do you notice either a back pressure or a feeling of a vacuum in front of you with the CalSci windshield? I noticed both at highway speeds with the Evo III which I had the opportunity to test drive this past weekend.

    Kewlmetal Bars

Hi James, I know you've only had one day to ride with your kewlmetel bars, but I want to ask what differences you experience (other than pressure being off your wrists)...differences like in handling the curves & turns etc. Joan

Is that a cruise control, I see under your left handgrip? If so what model are you using and how do you like it?

    Helibars...

I see that I'm not the only one that has a specific need regarding the handlebar issue. What surprises me though is how many others (those not vertically challenged nor with a disability) that have already talked about the benefits from NMN risers...e.g. relief of tension in neck, arms, and...

    Helibars...

Thanks Matt. However, I have one of the Premiere Edition Spyders and do not want to lose the center piece. Joan

    Helibars...

Thanks Evan and Lamont. I'm guessing the offset/pullback would need to be no more than 1" on each handgrip. How would I go about actually measuring this distance/degree? Joan

    Helibars...

Because of my small stature the handlebars on the Spyder (as well as most motorcycles) ergonomically do not fit me. This causes much stress on tendons, ligaments, and muscles in my upper expremities. So after learning about helibars from BJT today, I gave Heli Modified, Inc. a call and talked to...

    Daddydarko's #670

Scared Camera Kid James, what in the world are you doing to your brother. All kidding aside, I liked your video. CJ don't worry, I've got your back!...Joan

Just got my new clutch lever

I too have small hands. The clutch mechanism on the Spyders have an adjustment wheel with three positions on it. Even with the wheel in the position that brings it closest to the handgrip it was difficult for me to operate. So, my dealer took the adjustment wheel off totally...this brought...

    Help picking windshield

I also ordered an Evo III windshield. After test riding it I noticed a lot of wind force on my back. After talking with Marcel about it, I found out that I had measured incorrectly and thus my windshield was too short. I expect to receive my new Evo III later this week and will let you know...

I installed the riser all by myself!!!

Risers Yes Deb, it's me. :opps: I didn't realize I was replying to your post...I thought I was sending a new general post. Oh well...it's my first time...goes with the territory. And yes Deb, I'd like to get with you and try out your new risers. But, if there's anyone out there that can help...

I installed the riser all by myself!!!

Riser Question While I've been reading many posts, up to now I've not joined in on the conversations. I have a question about the risers. Because of my short stature the steering bar & hand grips ergomonically don't fit me. My hands & wrists are in a slight bent position while holding onto the...
