• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The instrument panel is in full view. What you saw was the result of the angle at which I took the picture.

The comfort of the backrest is decent. Right now I'm trying out Ksin's Corbin seats, which sit the passenger up higher then the OEM seat. Thus, just how high the placement of the backrest on the passenger's back will be dictated by the height of the seat itself...which may or may not...

Pictures of KewlMetal 9" Handlebars & Corbin Bags/Trunkbox

Sorry, forgot to answer your question about hubby not being able to ride it. Bob is 6'4" and I'm 5'2", so there's a big difference in height and reach. I mostly use the 9" rise handlebar really as a pullback to allow me to sit on the comfortable part of the seat. With the stodk handlebars...

Pictures of KewlMetal 9" Handlebars & Corbin Bags/Trunkbox

We re-bent the bars (which were like a prototype) from 31" down to 27.5". Since these bars worked so well for me, Matt at KewlMetal put the 9" size bar into production. We've ordered another set of 27.5 tip to tip from him, as they now have knurling on them (which the other didn't have)...

Pictures of KewlMetal 9" Handlebars & Corbin Bags/Trunkbox

Hi Gayle, Matt at KewlMetal said he was able to install the 9" handlebars on his wife's bike without changing the cables. I, on the other hand, also have the BRP 1" riser. So with a total of a 10" rise/pullback, we went ahead and installed the longer cables. We ordered them from...

Sorry, its taken me so long to upload the pictures a number of you asked about. I'm not a computer Guru...Joan I bought the 9" KewlMetal Handlebars and Console. They give me the rise/pullback I need. The Corbin Saddlebags and Trunkbox hold a substantial amount of gear. I don't need to worry...

    DPS Recall

I've got 16,000 miles on my Spyder, so I had an oil change in addition to the DPS recall done. But the recall itself only takes 10-20 minutes.

    DPS Recall

I just got my Spyder back from the dealer and what a difference this DPS recall made. I've been complaining that the power steering wasn't working right ever since I took delivery of my Spyder...but each time was told that it was operating correctly. And now a year and a half later I'm proven...

    Corbin Driver Backrest

Mark, I just watched the Utopia video and I have a few questions. Was instillation as easy as it appeared in the video? Were the instructions clear? Did you need to contact customer service and if so how were they to work with? Was the backrest made of the same material as the BRP saddle? Do...

KewlMetal 9" handlebars & Motorcycle cruise control

The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. And, yes this is a top notch piece of equipment! Bob (RLS) and I just came back from a 5,000 mile trip out west. I never would have been able to make it if it weren't for the cruise control...Joan

KewlMetal 9" handlebars & Motorcycle cruise control

I bought from MotorCycle Cruise Control in Australia, and delt with Tony Guymer. Their website is: www.mccruise.com. Their e-mail is: [email protected]. The cruise control costs around $600 U.S. I know it's a lot of money, but for me it's what I need. I can't say enough about their...
