• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cold Blooded

Thanks everyone, looks like it is a pretty common issue. Just picked mine from service and the shop said that the new 2009 software will have an update in it that will re-map the computer and may help the issue. While this may not be a big issue, sounds like BRP is aware of it and may be...

    Cold Blooded

My Spyder seems to be a little cold blooded and has to warm up for a while before it is ready to ride. If I take off before it sits and idles for 5-10 minutes it really sputters a lot and come close to stalling. I did not worry about this much as my Harley was the same way. When I took it...

6 feet, 5.5 inches, 245 lbs. and gotta get one!

The Real one O.K. at 6' 7" and right at 300 lbs I may be the best qualified to answer your question about "real men" riding the Spyder:spyder:. I had the same concerns at first, took it for a test ride and found out that Andrew Bogette(not sure if that is spelled right) NBA player had just...

Stay away from those big trucks if you can

I bet that got the old pulse rate up a bit. Great reminder to us all, I have seen it before and had my truck hit by a piece of tire, have also been behind a truck that jack-knifed with a load of lumber on it. Get past them quick, we have no protection.

Test ride or not to test ride?

I don't know how your won't enjoy it, but try to get an extended ride. The fifteen minute demo is not long enough to really get a taste. I would have bought mine on the spot if I could have, seeing it made me the believer the ride was the clencher.

Wow, two people raving about the mods and it looks good too. Too bad you can't see it with the covers on. Any worries about the Nanny or any backfires?:2excited::congrats::yes:

Install Ken's race filter and fuel pressure mod.

I would be interested in knowing what type of performance gains you experience. I have an aftermarket pipe now and am debating about buying the normal filter replacement or the racing filter and fuel pressue regulator. May even wait a little while and see what come out for reprogramming the...
