• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Southern Holiday

Thanks for the input! Sadly Florida may be a bit far east for us. I was thinking more south west states. I've been through Florida and we want to go back for sure! Gulf shores and Alabama...sounds nice. When you say Gulf shores does that mean Texas as well? I've heard the Galveston area is nice...

    Southern Holiday

Hi all. O.K. Here's the story. We've just bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (Hemi YAY!) This is a pretty special purchase for us and we got to thinking about driving somewhere warm this winter. We live in Albrrrrrr!ta Canada. We don't really know the southern states at all. I wanted to...

    Thermal Paste? Never Sieze?

Could you use the paste I get at the hobby store ? I use it when applying heat sinks to electric engines. Hey Scotty....did you do a little PG-13 touch up on that avatar of yours? It's not as anatomically correct as i remember it.:roflblack: Max

    losing my marbles

THANKS! I read that and it makes sense to me (if you stand on one foot and squint really hard!);) That would explain why the credit cards aren't affected, if I'm reading it right. As I said..not a problem but odd. Thanks HDXBONES! Max

    losing my marbles

Here's a picture. It's pretty cool actually but slippery. There's no magnetic money clip. Would the movement in my pocket be creating something akin to a mag field that is strong enough to affect the key but not my cards? What I know about this subject you could write on the head of a pin in...

No, nothing like that. If it is the culprit, shouldn't I be having trouble with my debit and credit cards? Max

    losing my marbles

O.K. Here's the deal. I go out to Spydee and put the key in and it's DEAD! No guage lights, no test pattern...nada. While I'm under the seat checking batt. terminals the bike comes to life like nothing was wrong. Yes I know...shouldn't have left the key on...oops! The batt. tender was...

    1st ryde of 2010!!!!

The snow is going pretty fast here in Western Canada. (I don't mean the avalanche kind) We have a general rule of thumb here...If you can see the deer poop on your yard then it's good enough to RYDE!!:2thumbs: Only put about 50k on today but the old gal flashed right up and ran like a...

Too Much Oil in Oil Tank - What happens (Dealer filled it too much)

Yep. I stood there and watched while the tech completely re-did the P.D.I and oil change. Pretty informative actually. Max They even knocked the cost of the rented trailer off a jacket.

Too Much Oil in Oil Tank - What happens (Dealer filled it too much)

That's good news. You should be o.k. then. I just thought the oil looked a little murky in one of the photos. Max

Too Much Oil in Oil Tank - What happens (Dealer filled it too much)

I had this happen when I took delivery of my spyder. Check the colour of your oil. It should be a clear amber. Mine was greenish and had a faint fuel smell to it. It was discovered that it had been over filled but also with the bike being started and stopped so many times in the showroom, I was...
