• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DPS recall, anyone else had it done yet?

I keep telling myself that, but the question keeps nagging at me. Thanks for reinforcing my thought process. Yeah, I wasn't planning on just accepting a reset this time. I had been wondering about that, but I have since had a few instances where I could tell I was just "fighting" against the...

    Is it just me?

Thanks for the info. Probably didn't look in the right place, but I couldn't find that when I was replacing my tires and was contemplating Ride On or just balance it and deal with the weights.

    Brake Failure Flashing?

It is touchy! Had the same thing with my bike and it was only halfway between Max and Min.

    New Gen2 DPS

TX's lemon laws extend to motorcycles. Just Google "TX lemon laws" and it will get you to the requirements needed to try and lemon law it. Good luck, I think mine is out of the initial mileage limits.

DPS recall, anyone else had it done yet?

Had mine done about three weeks ago. Took my bike in for the "trying to pull the handlebar straight" issue and dealer received the recall that night. He had to wait on parts because recall was so new, but he told me mine was first in line. He knows that it is my main mode of transportation...

DPS recall, anyone else had it done yet?

Check brake fluid levels. Mine was mid way between "full" and "min" (or whatever they are marked), but after top off, no more fail messages. Evidently at that level, under hard braking or cornering, the fluid sloshes and triggers the sensor for the Brake Fail message.

Won't be able to make it.... I could take vacation, but child will still be in school. Hate to miss it, sounds like fun.

    DPS replacement

Might try having them "reset" the sensor's again. Had to have mine reset after change out for the opposite reason....fool thing went back to trying to jerk the handlebar straight ahead.

I would like to make a request,

Some final thoughts. First off, I realize I did not make myself clear with my initial post. I do not expect BRP to replace my license plate or my inspection tag bracket. To those that stated that was a DMV and personal issue, I agree. However, I do expect BRP to take another look at the rear...

I would like to make a request,

UMMMM, NOPE! Those star washer marks are from a set up I was putting together in the garage and then decided wouldn't work. By that time the marks were already there. I then had aluminum bar stock backing that license plate with a flat washer on the license plate and a lock washer on top of...

    License plate/inspection plate....

The problem is I did get it braced with 1/8" aluminum bars, and now the fender side brackets are cracked. I looked at trying to add two lower bolts through the fender and the fender tapers in too much. There isn't much metal down that low on the fender so I haven't figured out how to anchor in...
