• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP refuses to pay dealer for warranty repair

Had the same problem with the spider sticking in gear. Word from BRP was that the oil pump was not suppling enough pressure to the clutch and shimmed a spring in the pump. It still creeps forward at a stop light and have had issues with not showing the right gear. Waiting to here back on how...

    Spyder Shifting Points

We love to ride and play, my daughter has a 07 Springer Screaming Eagle and a Hyabusa. Nothing stays with the busa and we haven't put the spyder and the harley on the street together yet (it's been in the shop more than on the road, just had to put that gig in) so don't know about that match...

I hate to say it but I'm beginning to agree. This is a great machine but the bugs are really scary. Sure hope they can work all of this stuff out.

    Disapointed

I stopped it in gear before and found out about the break the hard way too. This time was not the case I tried to start it and it would lurch forward and then all the warning messages started.

    Disapointed

I’ve had my SE since October and have 1700 miles on it. The bike has been performing flawlessly and I have been very impressed and surprised, because it had surpassed my expectations. Today I was stuck in traffic for about an hour, with no way out. The temp here at the time was about 60, and the...

Sunshine Drag Strip (1/8th Mile Track)

Thanks Scotty, I'm glad someone else noticed. My:spyder:is quick but it's not a 10 sec. machine. In comparison to my 1800 R it's close, and it was a 13 through the 1/4, so I suspect the :spyder:will be about mid 13's to 14. We are going to plan a trip to Houston Raceway Park an I'll post...

    Run-A-Round on the SE-5 porblems.

Please don't get me wrong, I fell your pain on not being able to ride. I'm only trying to state that I pray these are isolated instants for this new bike, after 5 years on a VTX with only maintenance required. Ed

    I Don't Understand!

I don't understand the difference, I've had my SE for almost a month now and 1500 miles on it. So far it has performed far above my original expectations after reading all of these post. Performance, shifting, acceleration, handling, all seem fine to me and I'm no newbe, been riding since I was...
