• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ongoing ST heat Mods

I bought one two months ago. It is a little hot on the left side when the temps are above 90. Some minor steering issues which i fixed with tire preasure adjustments. No major problems yet. I have 1400 miles on it and have had my 600 mile service done. So in other words I would go for it.

I just bought a 2013 ST Limited I only have had some minor steering issues and a heat issue on the left side of the bike, Everything else has been ok and i have done with my first service which showed no problems. Ongoing ST heat Mods

Bob. I had a 2012 RSS and bought a 2013 ST Limited> I live in PA so i am not a biker from the south. I have minor steering issues which i think are partly my fault. However the heat on the left side is bad. None the less for 25 K plus to worry about something melting and steering being a...

    Keys

Yes they have a chip or something in them. I am not sure if drilling would hurt them but I don't think I would. I have a holder that the key goes into and it has a ring on the other end.

    ATTN: ST OWNERS!

I guess i am lucky I have two dealers that i go to that must be very honest. When i went in for my first service for my ST Limited I mentioned the heat issues. The well trained tech at first said nothing. I said you don't have to give me the normal response that you never heard of this before...

    a Easy fix for BRP

Oh how i wish LOL I would be happy to take my 2012 RSS i traded in back even up :) In all reality my problems with my ST Limited are not all that bad. A few stearing issues and that is about it. I think maybe we need to start talking what we like about 2013. Floorboards, heated grips, closer...

    Swerving.. Spyder or human error?

tire preasure I am having some issues with my ST Limited feeling loose in the corners and at 60+ miles per hour. Taking the tire preasure down to 16.5 helped alot. I am going to take some air out of the back next. I can say when i took preasure up in the front it didnt help at all. I figured i...

    new lazer alingment

Looks like you are on the right track Lamont. On the website they show a copy of the scrub sheet you get after they do the Spyder. They show you the old data compared with the new. Part of the sales pitch is extended tire wear. I can't wait to see some of the results.

Okay- now I am paranoid---2012 RTS-SE5 Boiling gas

I haven't spent much time looking into my gas tank or listening to see if my gas boiled either. Maybe it has and I didn't know it. :dontknow:
  19. SpyderMouse22

Okay- now I am paranoid---2012 RTS-SE5 Boiling gas

Gasoline can boil from 90 degrees F to 430 F There are many factors besides temp. Winter gas or gas with other things in it will boil sooner. Higher altitude and even gas from one vendor or another are also a factor. So you could buy 91 at one station and have no problem and buy 91 at another...
