• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tell me your best Spyder story for a free t-shirt

Tatt2r wins so far, HANDS DOWN! In my humble opinion, this exemplifies the spirit of riding, no matter what you ride. Very cool story, thanks for sharing, even if you don't win the T-shirt!:clap::clap:

    Problem with Spyders

I agree with the opinion that it all depends on what riding experience you come from. I previously only ever rode 4-wheelers off road, and a Sidecar hack on pavement. From that riding history perspective, my Spyder is a dream! I will say, I sometimes feel the centripetal force a bit more...

    Spyder optional as attention getter...

My last ride was a Ural Sidecar rig. Same kinda thing happened all the time. They call it UDF or SDF (Ural Delay Factor / Sidecar Delay Factor) Gets even worse when you have a canine passenger :) My hubby & I strategize, one of us will answer questions while the other one loads/gases/gets us...

    My New Topcase

Hi Guys- That's me (Karla) on the spyder, & Gulliver riding in the crate. We got the crate at Petco. Dave (a.k.a. Crozb & hubby) attached a lead for Gulliver onto the frame on the interior of the crate. We just went to Home Depot and got the materials to make the lead, super easy. Gulliver can...

    Gas Smell !!!

No gas smell yet, about 850 miles. We'll see after this weekend's 5 day trip to LA & Big Bear. BUT, I couldn't resist saying to Heavenbound that I LOVE the detailing you did to your ride! The checkers & piping on the seat add some HOT style! Where'd you get the seat done? (sorry...

Today I was officially snubbed by an HD group....

Unbelievable. What, are they 5 years old on the playground? I ride with ~mostly~ BMW guys, but a well rounded eclectic group. I know there are some that are perhaps indifferent about the Spyder, but sheesh- they would NEVER behave like that. I wouldn't waste a single minute longer with that...

Does Age Have Anything to Do with the Spyder??

I don't think it has to do with age. Just some people different things for different reasons. I get all kinds of responses. Many gawkers, many questions. When I cross paths with other 2-wheeled riders, it's very amusing. Usually one of two responses, in body language: "Whoa!" (rise in upper...

    Leaning

Yep. Can't help it. Previous ride was a hack. (It's for sale if anyone's interested!) Got into the habit of leaning everytime, now I can't seem to not.
